Are you saying Chinese are not smart hard working people?
Where is that being said?
the Chinese are a bunch of patent , IP stealing commies.
Let me try being you- why do you love communists so much?
Pretty sad they managed to take a thriving business and drive it into the ground between Covid and now. That has to hurt. Have to wonder what this means for the racing efforts. At the bare minimum it’s going to feel a lot different for the people that still work there.
You are clearly racist.
They took a big gamble that could have made them a lot of money and it didn’t work out. I wouldn’t say they ran the company into the ground. But yeah, definitely think there’s going to be a pretty big shift within the company with the new leadership. Hope they continue putting money into racing.
So communism is a race now?
Wonder if this helps the India MX racing scene grow over the next few years?
Some people just can’t differentiate between a government and a population.
Triumph entered the off-road market at the perfect time.
Sooo… Tomac signs with KTM
I am actually pleased to see this. It is obvious that the current leadership isnt going to fly anymore. Bajaj has had a considerable stake in KTM for decades.
I was worried that I would never get the chance to buy that 1390 Super Adventure S I want..... New design, all set to go, introduced to the press last fall.... none produced. I magine they will be p-roduced at some point in the next year....
I don’t know why, but it “feels” like the mx bikes will get less and less attention over time and scooters, multi-purpose and adventure bikes will get the investments.
bro the race card is so goddamn old
Pit Row
That's certainly a possibility, but one important asset KTM has for this is Selvaraj Narayana, and he may be the key to KTM's MX and Off-road future.
hes referring to indians racing motocross in india
Maybe a bad choice of words on my part. Employees not getting paid and losing your company to outside investors in a matter of years is pretty bad. How exactly do you think they were going to make a lot of money? In my opinion they went really hard with very little to gain. I hope the company doesn’t change much, but that’s rarely the case.
Just matter of time when they close production in Europe.
Is there anybody left who is curious why Sexton is leaving?
“It’s KTM NA bro” 🤣
I am surprised by all of the negative comments. On one hand, the company could fold and die. On the other hand, the company/brand could survive and carry on by a group that has had a stake ownership of the company for 18 years now. It is almost as if people wanted to see it fold and die which is just bizarre.
Does this mean there may be changes? Sure. Change 1 - getting the guy that got them to this point out is a great start. I would rather see where it goes, knowing these folks have had a say in what is happening at KTM for almost two decades now than seeing it all go down the toilet.
100%…..I see this as good news and may have been the only way forward for the brand….
Maybe they will actually run the business effectively.
Land Rover has been Indian owned for some time now and they managed to become more reliable and maintained their luxury.
”Do not redeem the KTM recall!!!!”
