Lewis clarified this is at the end of ‘25. So, really nothing new. See title of this thread. Still don’t know where he going…
It won't be Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Ducati, Triumph, TM, Beta or Suzuki. Yarrive cant afford him. Oh, or Stark Varg.
He’s got too much self respect to do that
Are you sure...

Should start a crowdfunding to get him on a Suzuki ride. Would love to see him on one
Too bad these “media” guys don’t actually say what they think they know. Lewis just come out and spill it.
Glorified PR firms, can't report anything until they get the green light. They ignored webb's injury for 5 months when they all knew about it all along, never pressed him on the awkward comments about not being able to talk about it.
Because if he spilled the beans early he would lose access to insider info and his career would be over. I don't understand what you morans don't get about this.
I just hope all the riders have fun.....
So, we already knew he was out at Yamaha 😳
This is a self fulfilling prophecy. What is the point of insider info from a media perspective if you don't even report things that are common knowledge in the press box? It's not like it's exclusive info and they're blowing out one source. They all know and they all keep quiet. The whole point of racing is to advertise for your brand and your sponsors. You can only get away with blacklisting guys when the culture is such where they all keep things quiet. If they all act like normal media and just report things the teams won't be able to afford to blacklist people.
Sexton on Yami and Eli on KTM? 🤩
One post a few pages back said there was a red Japanese bike in the garage. What about the Quad Lock Honda team? I'm sure it would be a paycut, but maybe enough to keep Eli racing and on a competitive bike? They've had some decent results lately on that bike.
Lars with the big flex and putting Eli on the factory Honda would be cool.
Thank you for being the voice of reason.
Everyone thought Tomac was crazy for leaving Honda, then Kawi, now Yami. I don’t see the problem.
Elite riders have been doing this since Jesus did a cross up on a donkey, and guess what? They’ve still been elite.
I look forward to seeing where Eli lands.
I have never purchased a bike based on what a rider rides. However, when I watch Jett ride his 450 it REALLY makes me want a Honda lol
The only other instance of this for me was when MC rode. So I do think it has some influence.
Ducati or Honda (to replace a departing Hunter).
Never said Star, I stated Yamaha. I never stated this was a 100% fact either, I certainly wouldn't bet on it, I simply stated chances are good he finds a way. I would assume he wants to race that bike, and I would assume some at Yamaha still want him. Logically KTM is broke, Ducati and Triumph are unproven, none of these teams are a logical fit for him. There is no better fit for him then his current bike, as a pro he knows this. As far as the genius and integrity of Moto journalists, you have got to be kidding. This once again proves that any post on this site needs to be reexplained at least once because of the lack of reading comprehension of those involved and also proves my previous statement about 14-year-olds and narcotics.
Pit Row
Hopefully he doesn’t sell himself that short. You don’t build your career into legendary status to go back to minimum wage.
Zero chance it'll happen. Guys like Eli don't think they're winning because of the bike, especially when the salary to ride a different one has another comma. Eli isn't losing sleep over competing on a different bike.
I have nearly ZERO insider information. But there is also a ZERO % chance Yamaha lets Eli walk.
LOL!! I hate to inform you but it has already happened......
I thought HL96 was locked in through next year?
Also - The Lawrence's have always been a "package" deal, so you think Honda will run the risk of losing Jett if they decide to drop Hunter?
Willing to do a friendly wager to a charity?
Also, this is why some people are telling sexton to not burn all his bridges at the oem’s early in his career. Not that Eli burned bridges but it’s very similar to what people are worried about for chase.
Describe “Zero”
It’s not a package deal anymore.
Dude they just won an indoor title without him and they have Deegan as their long term Outdoor 450 hope (I think his 450 career will flop). I keep saying Eli isn't in his prime anymore to massive downvotes lol, BUT his own Team seems to also think this and the "definitely out at Yamaha" rumors are way too openly discussed by the usual insiders (Matthes, JT , Weege etc) for it to be untrue. His best bet is going with a complete newcomer to pad his retirement funds with less pressure on results as its a new bike (Ducati) or if he reckons he has title chances, go to a proven platform which is Honda - I don't think he ever forgives KTM for the shenanigans that one year with Marv and Dunge + their financial state. Triumph doesn't have the pockets for him but Ducati is going hard for Eli and Roczen (according to Ping who is close with Troy Lee), Roczen seems less likely to happen which means they could throw a monstrous financial incentive at Eli. I hope he goes for option B, I rate a "declining" Eli still above everyone besides Jett indoors and out
Looks like for Eli the music has stopped and there isn’t a chair for him.
HL96 deal is done end of this year (afaik) and there is chatter he goes somewhere with a claw on his helmet - could all be BS regarding the claw though but I think its more likely than not that Hunter leaves for a new team and the brother-package is not a thing anymore, Dazzy also was very open about it being unlikely the brothers are always on the same team in his latest Pulp appearance for what its worth. Jett is locked in long term at Honda (not yet announced) but not Hunter and I think Honda is the only realistic Japanese option for Eli if he wants to go for titles.
