Suzuki won the same number of main events this year as Honda

I guess they’re just as committed to providing an updated and cutting edge bike as Honda then? 😏

Where do you get this "info"?

I was told 2 weeks ago he had ridden a KTM already and a Triumph/Ducati by some PR people who were associated with Feld

I think it would be cool if Tomac was winning races on Ducati next year.

To be fair, it would be cool to see him on any bike at this point. 😅

Fantic would be an interesting play. They are bringing some bikes into the US. Not the 450 though to my knowledge.

Yes.

My Preference #1 - Eli racing in 2026
My Preference #2 - Eli racing (and doing well) on a Ducati in 2026

It just seems like it would be cool for him to jump on a new brand and have it work out well for both parties.

As long as tomac is racing I’m happy. Even if it was mxgp like rv2 did if needed

Where is the moto media on this? We're a few days from the first race and one of the sport's biggest stars is a big question mark? This would be like going into a football season in a week and nobody knows who Peyton Manning is playing for. It's a huge story.

He’s too late in his career to start over. Monster throws in some coin, Yamaha throws in some factory parts and a cable clutch. Gilly moonlights in ET3 garage.  Tomac to ClubMx 2026 and beyond.

This is just for next year, he is racing outdoors/SMX for Star still.

They're only bringing in two bikes and both are offroad models.

The XE300 2- Stroke and XEF 250 TL 4-stroke.

It amazes me the number of people under 14 years old who post on this site, as well as the number who are actually involved in using narcotics use while posting. Eli going to Suzuki, KTM, Triumph, Ducati, Hodaka, Maico, Bultaco, Alsport Steen, Bonanza, etal. Christ on a bicycle. Chances are good he finds a way to stay Yamaha.

When Tomac is in his "groove" he could win on ANY bike out there. Suzuki has proven itself relevant in 2025, and what other teams could offer him the freedom of doing whatever he wants set up wise? No BS enengy drink sponsor clash, gear deals, no harping about fork changes - and a cable clutch to boot. Who at Suzuki would tell Tomac "No" to any requests he brought to the table? Who there has told Roczen "No"?

If i recall correctly Roczen didn't want another "A-rider" on the team but maybe I mis-remembered

And nothing that is Yamaha based…. It’s contractually forbidden.

It amazes me how many people stick their fingers in their ears and go, "lalalala I'm not listening!" when insiders like Mathes, JT, Weege, Blair, etc say hes not going to be at Star. Like you

Seem to remember Ferrandis’s name was floated but I’ve been wrong before

“Out of Yamaha” sounds immediate. I assume he’s still fulfilling his contractual obligations?

He's spent twice as many years of his career not on Yamaha as he has on Yamaha. Not sure why everyone is finding it so unbelievable that he wouldn't be back there next year.

He meant Eli is out for next year not for outdoors. Yall are misreading this.
