Thanks…you as well!
You know when I say; "Git er dun, son", you know everything I'm thinking...
Heal fast, brother.
Great pics everyone. I have never not had dogs my whole life but after my perfect boy Big Mack truck died from a tumor so young recently its been hard to replace him. Miss him so much. He was such a perfect soul.
We just put Enzo down, he was 16, a whippet. Since I’ve moved out he’s been my parents friend/baby/homie etc. sad day but man he had it made in his 16 years.

One of the many Doggos that I mug when they walk past my house and I'm doing that Blood Sport, that is Gardening. His name is Ronnie, and he's a Grand Old Man of 16! He's such a Fit, Beautiful little Bloke.
The day before I got these (bad) pictures of him, I was out the front, doing the gutter edging, and his Mum, walking past ( without him) said " Ronnie Will Love You For That!" I've only got mobile enough recently to do the edging, so our near 100ft of gutter was Jungle like. Turns out, Ronnie likes Living On The Edge. And Insists on walking on the Top of the Gutters: Not in them, Not on the grass, Not on the Road . So, He was mightily inconvenienced by my stretch of territory being 'uncouth' . He was certainly happy about my clean up of His walkway. If / when I get another Pup, it Will be a Jack Russell!
Oh, and that Tail of his, is Always being wagged at a blurring pace!
When training, punishment, and even chicken wire fail:
Why do I love this little knucklehead so much? The guilty party:
My 2 English Bulldogs... Gator (1st pic) is 13y/o now. Thor is a rescue, is 4y/o.
I took a rode trip and got me a new friend

Insane how fast your world can turn upside down.
Jenn and I took Ollie for a hike Friday morning.
Came back and he hit his usual crash pad.
20-30 minutes later she went out and found him unable to use his back legs.
A weekend spent in veterinary emergency rooms, a veterinary neurological center, x-rays, bloodwork, an MRI reveals he had a spinal stroke.
14cm long, across 90% of his spine.
A very grim prognosis has her devastated.
And today another long road trip, carrying her baby to the, Carolina ranch rehab center.
Spent the day there.
An awesome facility, and staff.
Underwater treadmills, laser therapy, and everything else that will be needed to care for him.
They say in 2-3 weeks they hope to see results.
If not, he'll remain paralyzed.
Right now her hopes are up.
But the next few weeks are going to be a bitch.
Lots of traveling in our future.
Raleigh Durham N.C. are far from our home in Tennessee and cabin in Linville.
He's her baby, and the two are inseparable and thick as thieves.
He's such a good dog, and just turned 5yrs old.
Hoping for the best, Joey.
Holy Shmoly! 👍🏻
Hope everything works out for you guys. Prayers sent brother.
I hope all works out well
Pit Row
Man, that's rough, Joey.
Hoping for the best.
Prayers for your whole family. Hoping Ollie makes a full recovery.
Short update...
Ollie has a new GF.
She and Jenn are texting back and forth multiple times a day.
Spent some time in the therapy pool, has shown to have feeling in his hips and legs, but still can't move them.
She's telling us to have patience, lots of it.
They've seen pups make full recoveries.
But his was a pretty severe stroke.
I'm back home, and almost 6hrs away.
Taking care of the other kid...
She's staying in N.C. so she can make the 4hr round trip, to see him, every day or so.
Thanks for sharing Joey. Sounds hopeful to me.
I was telling the wife about Ollie the other night and then it led to a learning experience for the both of us about his condition.
Beautiful dog.
I've always thought dalmatians and brindle's look so cool.
A big towel is exactly what we had to use, getting him around.
Also was shown how to manipulate his bladder.
We're already talking about how to make the cabin wheelchair friendly for him.
Just in case he doesn't fully recover.
And I'm probably going to have to let her use the 4runner, for ease of transport from now on.
Crazy how much this may/will alter our lives, travel, etc...
But you take on a responsibility for their well being, and lives.
Good doggie parents, you 2.
While I'm waiting on the gate drops,
Jenn made the trip over to the rehab center for a visit with Ollie.

Just seeing this…
Me and Milo sending Ollie and family all the positivity we’ve got.
How's he doing?
