Out of at least 5 guys who could win, Davies nailed the original start and then went from 6-1st in the restart. This kid is no joke. Now that the balls rolling, I’d love to see him keep the momentum.
I love an underdog and a 17 year old rookie riding at this level against this competition is insane in the training facility era of our sport.
When does Deegs turn on Davies and make him the villain?
he's doing great!..
interesting to see how he goes outdoors.
2026 will be his year.
In his recent vlog he mentioned being really happy for Cole but that if he keeps winning that’ll change
Try not to think of Deegan for a few minutes

All the Star vids I see, they're riding together. Maybe they're actually friends and teammates who are pushing each other to get better. I'm sure Haiden has the pull to ride his own program alone if he really wanted to
Generational talent......
On a serious note, Davies is good now and is going to be great as he continues to develop. So much competitive young talent coming up.
Was actually thinking that tonight, Davies is clearly the better rider than Degan now, so won’t belong before he will try his bully boy tactics with him.
Imagine the panic in the Deegan camp if Davies is better at outdoors
He passed the two championship leaders and last year’s champion with relative ease and checked out. All with incredible style. I’m rooting for him.
i was impressed with davies today. i'd be worried if i was anyone in that class because he looked damn good and a step above literally next level compared to everyone else today. hope he carries it to outdoors, will make for a good season.
I didn’t fully understand the Davies hype until watching him live today. That kid is the real deal. He was greasing every section… if you can put bias aside, he rides like Jett. Excited to see how his career unfolds. He kinda came out of nowhere for me.
I'll be mindblown if he can hang with Haiden outdoors. Haiden is a different animal outdoors.
I think we have a future air to air Jett killer missile on our hands.
Also, so much for people saying the West was weak this year.
Good interview on gatedrop.com YouTube with Ben townley's thoughts on Cole and his chances outdoors.
He was riding alone…it wasn’t working out well
For real. And I was just thinking today how wrong I was saying the West was so weak.
He already has. Deeg turned the second he was straight upbeat by him. Davies is calm, and collected, and reminds me of a young Reed. And indoors, he had better get used to it, because it won't happen every time, but Davies is better INDOORS. Have no idea outdoors yet, but probably gonna be a thorn in Deegs side for quite a spell.... He IS the real deal. Just going to watch some fun the next few years between these 2, or however many Deegs gets pissed at over the years because they took care of business better than he.
That kid's skill, style, and race craft is very impressive, awesome to watch ride a supercross track. Congrats on the win.
Pit Row
Daniel Blair, who scouted him, has mentioned several times that he’s not as developed outdoors and is a supercross specialist to some degree. Not sure how much so
The kids get t talent for sure. In a year or so, many of these guys will be in 450 class. That’s going to be fun to watch.
You can tell he grew up watching Jett ride. Kid keeps everything nice and compact which makes him smooooth.
Tonight felt like one of those crazy rides beast-mode Tomac or Stew would put on where you knew there was no way they'd be denied the win.
By all accounts he has some room to grow in the outdoors so I would guess consistent top 5s would be his goal by the end of his first year. The kid is scary, this level of talent at SX can’t be overlooked and his cool and calm style point towards a very bright future if he can continue improving. A real SX title threat in his second year at 18 is crazy. I hope he can put it together outdoors over the next couple of years and become another top talent as he moves to the 450.
But yeah, still plenty of questions unanswered about his performance outdoors
He had the same coach Jett did.
Davies had a great race. I love the guy. I hope he finishes strong. With that said, I don’t think Davies has a realistic chance at winning 250 West down 17 points with two races left. You know the points leader is the points leader for a reason.
Davies is looking great. Deegan did close a 5 second gap with him in the last few laps. He starts better than Deegan but also is more risk averse.
To be fair. We all would of said the same about supercross..
His pass on Deegan over the finish line was sick. He scrubbed that so good
Another thing about Davies is he looked no where near this good at SX last year so I’m not sure we really even know what he’s like outdoors at this point in time. He looks perfect on the bike lately, no doubt that will carry over to motocross as well.
You can thank Ben Townley and Greg Moss for this.
Kids a beast and a pleasure to watch.
Will be awesome in time with Jett and Cole going at it.
His whoop speed is epic watch Townley teaching him on his home track in NZ.
I'm sure Greg deserves some credit for all of their success' but he has had a lot of students over the years and it's not like everyone over here rides like that and neither Jake or Matt who you would assume would be most likely, don't noticeably ride like that.. That I've noticed anyway
