He said something stupid last night right when chase got passed by Webb. Something like:

“This is exactly where chase wants to be”

Grant Langston.

Jeff Emig.

David Bailey.

James Stewart.

Blair Daniels.

Almost anybody else...better than RC.

He sure enough did say that, and it was just before the white flag came out. I was like No Ricky it is NOT right were Chase wants to be!

That was probably the 378th time I gave myself an RC facepalm and yelled at the TV last night alone. The only time I'm more vocal is watching college football

There was like a lap and a half left and Webb passes Chase for the lead. “This is good for Chase because now he can watch Cooper’s lines.”  Grinning

Just waiting for the eventual rift between Brayton/AC and RC. Brayton and AC are getting a lot of love. They better be careful or RC’s going to call them the fans favorite toy.

I agree with you 100%. You can tell how JT kisses RC's ass during the broadcast, "good point RC", "exactly right RC", shit like that - that he knows RC is pretty fucking insecure. Brayton and AC's commentary during RDL highlights what a nincompoop RC is and how little Diffey knows. I was so wrong about AC being in the broadcast booth, other than being a goofy dude, he is a revelation as far as insights and genuine input concerning the sport. He has been great.

The redneck runs high in that one.  He used 'wore out' recently too.  The guy really needs to preparate better.

Have you ever heard somebody say "bode well" in normal conversation?

I have a great sense of foreboding that Rickys legacy has been forever tarnished by his tarrying in a station where he is most unwelcome.

You know what’s interesting too. He couldn’t be any more fake or out of place and this is a sport he’s been involved with since he was a child. It’s just amazing how uncomfortable, insincere, ineffective, he is in this role. He’s the greatest racer of all time and been in the sport for decades, knows everything there is to know about it all, and that still doesn’t help him at all.

Eminem of moto? Undeniable goat but awkward, not well liked, and misanthropic.

I’m not even sure I can do that to Eminem. RC is about as high on my list as the women on “the view.”

It doesn't help him for the reasons you said.....he is faking it.  If he was capable of articulating what he sees it would be awesome, but he can't

“Smoke from the water hitting the engine.”

Apparently I was sleeping during the physics class where we learned that water has another phase (smoke).

Listening to him try to put a sentence together genuinely stresses me out.  It is so irritating to hear him struggle so much and be so incoherent.
