Classic tweaker move. Sell bike for drugs, claim it was stolen to all of your loved ones, play the victim, get said loved ones to bail you out (buy new bike).  Classic!

I hate to agree, but this was my thought as well. Or no bike was stolen, and he's raising money to support his habits.

The bike was stolen on Feb 24th but he didn't pick it up until March 1st and the picture of the stolen bike post isn't even him.

He had the talent and the opportunity to retire a multi-millionaire before he turned 30. Yet here we are with a go fund me.

He should have been smart enough with his racing income that this would never be an issue. He probably could have worked out a deal with a contract to get bikes for life, didn't "Chicken" do that? I think someone from 80's/90's moto gets a new bike every 2 or 3 years and they just trade in the last bike they were given.

That's harder to do than you think. Guys like RC, McGrath or Villopoto are getting free bikes because it's part of their pay plan. They are actively employed or contracted by the company they are with. I have a feeling the Triumphs, Kawasakis and Yamahas are going to dry up if those agreements end, however. From a goodwill standpoint, I bet some guys still have good friends in the loaner pool departments of the OEMs they rode for and are able to capitalize on it, but I'd be willing to bet the Japanese guys back home don't know about it. Or at least turn a blind eye to it. Also, things change as those people retire or move to other OEMs / other industries.
Unless the rider has an active, ongoing agreement, it's not easy to borrow a $10,000 machine for a year and return it all beaten up. (Much less 2-3 years.) I don't see guys like Johnny O, Guy Cooper, Ezra Lusk or Larry Ward getting free bikes without a whole lot of sweet talk and maybe even some kind of obligations to the company.

It sounded like Chicken, or whoever it was, negotiated it in their last contract. I don't see why a rider now couldn't do the same. Negotiate less money on the contract to get bikes for life or take more money, invest it and you buy your own bikes for life.

Yes, contractual obligations would obviously be honored. Chicken is likely one of the select few who had that written in. I bet Bob Hannah has some kind of deal, too. I bet he can get a Yamaha or a Honda anytime he wants. He'd probably make them pay him to take it, too. 😆

GoFundMe should be used for desperate and dire situations; expatriation of a dead body from a foreign country, raising funds for a chair or vehicle for someone who has a SCI, helping a family out who lost everything in a fire, money for life saving equipment for a rare medical condition etc etc.

Not for some strung out crackhead who supposedly had his free MX bike stolen, blew a promising lucrative career to be a burnout because he's "hardcore" and seemingly burns every bridge he's ever crossed and can't fathom getting an actual job and earning money like the rest of us. This actually really makes me angry

He's now at 87% on his GFM, so looks like he'll probably get there. The public has spoken, and is still all good with free bikes for Jason.

Karma is a bitch but looks like Jlaw will have others pay for his stolen bike. Any one who kicks in money for it is a moran. (yes this is the vital spelling) 😎

At this rate he will have a bike by Saturday. Hopefully he takes a extra couple of hundred and insures this one. 😂

Everyone trying to judge J-law for his past hasn't ever been a dipshit kid with too much money.  So what?  Let him live his life the way he wants now.  His dirt bike was stolen and he's asking for help.  If you don't want to help then don't, if you do than feel free to do as you wish.  But to come on here and bash him (or people donating) for his past, calling him a fuckup, shows what a lame excuse of a human some of you are.  If you can't see the change in people or see the good in your fellow human than you deserve just the same ridicule for being a human turd yourself.

Kind of hope he raises enough for two bikes with the way everyone’s so upset about it, lol

Flame away but I still wouldn’t trust Jlaw as far as I could throw him. His constant ramblings and videos on IG just scream Tweaker. I can’t figure out for the life of me why the whole industry has been whoring themselves out to him for the past few years.

What are examples of the industry whoring themselves out for JLaw in the past few years? Just curious

I was going to make a post about all the ways he could make money training kids but I don’t think he even has the mental capacity to do that. He’s 35 and all he knows is dirt bikes. So he makes money winning the local a class where he lives every weekend?  What’s that gotta be like $150 a week?

Is donating supporting, or enabling? I fear the latter.

I worked Yamaha of Troy while Jason rode for them.  If I remember somewhat correctly his championship year his heat race win bonus’s were 40-50k , main events were 125-150k and championship bonus was a million plus.  I think I heard when it was all said and done he made near 4 million.  Obviously this was 17 yrs ago and I could be off a bit.

How about RacerX run a GFM for some nice kid to be able to ride (that otherwise wouldn’t be able to) rather than a twit who pissed away opportunities and talent most of us only dream of…

Guy Air Time Cooper The Coolest Mx racer ever. For the young guys that don’t know he traveled to the Nationals in a olds cutless car pulling a bike trailer , not a enclosed trailer . With his wife in 87 on a cr125 Rocket ship.  His choice of bike today is a 05 CR125 .  I had 3 bikes stolen in 13 we’ll 1 bike was missing the forks& swingarm. A 06 with 5 hrs another 06 like new & my stroker crank 04.  4 1/2 yrs later I got 2 arrested . Happened at a Real bad time account was cleaned out from a bad 1 yr full recovery

Elbow surgery . I went back to work 6+ months . 2 bikes where setup on a 15k loan from a trucker pal that owned co.s. to set me up in ND. I had a 380k contract job in oil field hhg drilling.  No 1 helped & my family I think there where happy it happened, Real mean screwed up bunch. I ended up doing Chicago railyards in a dead economy a co that was ovr a billion in debt .  Everyone bitches about a million he had . After taxes that’s 375k , not enough to retire on at 55 . And for sure not at 22 .  I worked at numerous co.s trying to some dough to afford bikes & race b4 I,m dead.  Took another loan out to get to Tx. Oil fields , made nothing . I went to the Chicago Russian 1099 mob next because they run super illegal.  I got .5 more because he couldn’t find a driver that knew how to drive a stick. Total pike of shit I got bed bug bite scares & pneumonia & bronchitis from exhaust & burning anti freeze . I said I need a dr & I,m going home. They said No your not.  22 guys showed up put there shades on looked at me then opened a trailer & looked at the ceiling then me.  A driver was just found severely beaten , hands tied behind his back and was hung in a trailer in Chicago.  I got my knife & we got into it .  I did a horrible w2 co after that lied about the pay not .65 & 68 mph. .40 taxed & .10 not taxed 62 mph . C19 happened no one wears having orientation except for a couple 1099 chicago co.s .  I worked 9 1/2 months straight no day off . Except for er room in March 2019 . I trained a black x con murder then a brain dead military guy then quit training.  Retaliation was brutal I had to give up a 1/2 decent trk & drive a f ing pile . 99% of loads went to Jersey I was the only guy doing that . I made 40k 6 days off the whole yr. I had to take a loan against my life insurance I had since 95. I couldypsy it back . So now I can’t die. Late 2019 c19 co.s started hiring. I said f w2 co.s if I ever want to ride it has to be a 1099 Chicago mob co.  I,m on my 11th there all Soo dangerous. And rip you off 400-500k is owed . My plan of the iL. Labor dept doing there job and getting my money failed . I,ve dealt with  failed system since I was 4 yrs old getting extreme beatings & the state doing nothing.  Most 3 inches shorter in aprox 2/ 2 1/2 yrs on 1099 trks, hundreds on injections , need neck, back, hip, shoulder surgeries.  Dead economy for 3+ yrs = no income.  Easily ovr a million on denied work claims .  More physical than jackhammering it feels like 200 hrs straight every day . I ran 60 hrs straight in a tanker doing the ne . I was a big time bball star got f ,d & had to quit to pay rent at 16.  I want a state championship now b4 I die or something.  And show I can earn more on a bike than driving a truck.  That’s easy because u don’t get paid for your 149 hr week.
