Not if mirts still is representing them
MIrtl was let go from Wasserman, so i'd assume that means he loses all clients, correct?
No, a lot of them are choosing to stay with him.
Who’s that?
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
The Coenen's and Shimoda are the ones I'm aware of that stayed with him
Very risky if they insist on being a package deal.
Vialle as well
Yes I knew I was missing one.
I think they are just trying to secure funding for a motorhome first.
Babysitter also
...I was told their 2026 possible move to the AMA is still being worked out and not for certain at this point. The kid's dad is a factor here.
but who knows...
The Coenens are going to be hard work. The dad from all reports is a full nut job.
Personally, i only see Lucas as a realistic purchase for a team
They crash way too much. I would love to see them over here but would be afraid that they wouldn’t be able to make it through an entire season.
I agree, they hit the dirt almost every time they are on the track. Not a chance they make it through a Supercross season.
That's just the way the MXGP/Infront system is made.
DeWolf wanted to go up to the 450 class. KTM and Luongo made him stay in 250 so they could get the MX2 title another time.
The Coenen brothers are definitely coming to the US next year. That's why they stayed with Mirtl and that's why they 'upgraded' Lucas to the MXGP class so he wouldn't compete with DeWolf.
Sacha is still young, short, and underweight. He has the speed but still has to build an 'adult' body. That's the only reason why they left him compete in the MX2 class. KTM and Infront don't want them to leave the GP's. They are just doing everything they can to keep them here.
Mirtl might not be as bad as everyone wants him to be. Time will tell. As you guys said, Shimoda, Vialle, the Coenen's and much more sticked with him. Wait and see.
I see Masterpool with Mirtl a lot on IG, i’m guessing he’s staying with him.
“Babysitter”
You guys are not wrong, but so did Hunter and Ferrandis before they came to the US and look how they developed. Sacha has the speed, already won a moto this year, just yeah.. crashing a lot and very inconsistent. Lucas didn't really crash a lot last year and he is fast as shit, went toe to toe with de Wolf until the last round while being 17. I still don't understand why he went 450 this year, but even despite that and not coming in healthy this year he looks like a top 5 guy in MXGP already. Wouldn't surprise me if he battles for podiums and some wins even throughout the year. Once he becomes even a little more consistent, I think Lucas is gonna be a future champion in whatever series he decides to compete in.
I wouldn't even be surprised if they somehow end up staying in europe though, KTM will probably throw a lot at them and De Wolf to try keeping them in europe, they need bikes out there, specially with Herlings retiring soon? Or am I crazy thinking like that?
Also as people said, it will probably be hard to get a good package deal.
Pit Row
Dewolf what’s his plans?
Still trying to blow down that house of bricks....
Someone(I think pulp) said pc kawi is making a run for him. That was a while back and maybe things have changed.
Makes you wonder what's up if they stuck with Mirtl.
Cooksey right again (Lawrence daddy drama)?
WAY too many Cooksey fans on this forum lately.
So does chase sexton....but hey...
18 years old .. I think there is a possibility they will crash less as they grow up...jeesish
The way it went down had to be straight out of Jerry McGuire right? Mirts calling everyone at the same time as Jacob Hayes
"Show me the money!!!"
Maybe. I hope so!
Yeah by all accounts he was obsessed with coming to the US
Ever heard that saying “we can work with speed”? The Coenens are still young, they’ll be fine.
But I do agree, starting the move to the US with SX is a big hurdle for most.
Otherwise I think we’d see way more international riders try AMA. Damn shame we don’t see more cross over between series.
KTM is making moves to free budget to keep the two in Europe which means Jeffrey will not be offered a new contract by them for 2026.
If they do go I'm VERY eagerly anticipating Large in the 450s outdoors (Whenever he'd end up on one)
