I got a speeding ticket in NY and was not a NY resident. I paid the fine. Well in NY they make you pay some safety training fine too. That went to an old address I hadn’t lived at in years so I didn’t know about it.
Was driving with a buddy and he got pulled over. He had a warrant out for not paying that same safety training fine. He was a NY resident. They arrested him. I had a warrant out for the same thing but because I wasn’t a NY resident I was free to go. I had to bail him out. Same thing with him. That fine went to an old address and he had no idea about it.

I'm sure his family is breaking his balls a little bit. Many at his age probably did the same dumb shit, spinning brodies, racing at high speeds, dicking off. The downside is, he could of wrecked himself and got injured or killed himself. Or worse, crashed into a family and injured or killed them.

You are correct I do not sign his checks but as the consumer I can to a point dictate what he does. To put it on a large scale if nobody watches Supercross/motocross then there is no Star Yamaha to pay him and no sponsor checks to cash. I obviously have no control over what he directly does but as a consumer I do have control over my purchases be it Supercross or Monster or Yamaha etc.
