Who is gonna win the title? Or do both get hurt and Kenny brings it home?

My opinion is that with 10 races left, we'll likely see more mistakes from Chase but he'll still regularly be the fastest and end up with the title as long as he doesn't hurt himself in the process.

Sexton unless he gets injured.  But Webb will be right there until the end.

Webb. Speed differential isn't wide enough.

I don’t see Webb off the box, but I can see Chase grenading himself and getting a random 12th.

If Chase can realise he is so much better and not have these mental mistakes he will win easily.. but that’s a big IF

Webb.

I just feel he knows he has everyone covered even with Chase speed.

Chase has 10 more rounds to keep it on two wheels.

Hey the series hasn’t even started yet! Daytona next week.

Called Webb for the title after the 1st round.
Chase just needs to chill and he will win the championship…but he wants to win at all cost, and that cost is the championship.

I still feel like Chase can right the ship and bring it home, but damn Webb is in his head and making it hard for him to focus on the goal.

Same thing I said in another thread. Chase has managed to minimize the damage from these mistakes. But one time it's really going to bite him and he's going to end up at the back of the top 10 or worse. I hope I'm wrong and I'm rooting for Chase

Chases speed isn't that much faster anyway.

The fact that we really don’t know yet is truly a gift to us fans!

I think what we should ask is where did Webb find the extra speed? Pretty incredible. Training with the young kids? Yamaha that much better? Leaving aldon?

Again, with the big dogs out (Tomac and Jett), it is once again Sexton's only saving grace at a SX title. If he doesn't do it this year, he'll never get another shot like this. If he switches bikes next year, he'll have a really tough time winning. So, he better do it this year.

I think Sexton.

While we’re on the topic, Sexton doesn’t get credit for how durable he is. He’s regularly finding himself in small to medium crashes but never seems to be injured. Like that weird rock in the throttle last year. Could’ve been bad. Same with the whoops crash in Tampa this year. That could’ve been bad. But no matter if it’s a tucked front end or ghost riding the bike off a berm, he always seems ok.

I think that’s why he never learns. He makes the kind of mistakes that ruin his night, but rarely makes the big ones that ruin a season.

So we’ll get more tucked front ends, probably another kinda scary one, but he’ll still do enough to win the title.

After this past weekend, I could not put the last thousand dollars to my name on Sexton. He should be 10+ points ahead by now if he just had a measure of self discipline. All multi time champions have it, but he has yet to demonstrate it consistently, unfortunately. He could easily be controlling it from the front by now. He is crazy fast, everyone knows this-but crazy typically does not win championships. Consistency on the box and doing the best that each race gives you wins titles. For questions please reach out to Ryan Dungey at 1-800-never off the box.

Webb is doing a spot on Dungey impression at the moment. Makes Sexton beat himself and so far, he has done just that. He can't keep saying he just wants to win-a race? Okaaaayyy sure-check that box. A title? That ship is leaving port and he seems real hesitant to get on it. I am cheering for the guy but man he is making it tough on himself with these self inflicted wounds. In all sports, all champions have a measure of self control and not letting emotions rule their performance.

Sexton, but it’s close…. Webb consistency vs Sexton speed.  It should be highly entertaining, and that’s good considering Eli and Jett are out.

Both riders are clearly better than the field , and slightly better than Kenny
At this point Chase need to go on a run and win multiple races to build a points gap and stop making costly mistakes

It's a toss up. That being said if I was forced to put some money down I'll take Webb.

I'd be happy if Ken won it too.     I'm torn.  I want to see Webb get 3....but I'd also like to see Ken get 1 because they are in their waning years.   (Though both look amazing)    Sexton still has time....

I second this-it would be amazeballs if Kenny could finally win this thing-on a kickstart Suzuki no less!!! I mean, come on...

Sexton should win. He is so fast and smooth. Just needs to ride consistently and even slow down and ride 95% instead of 100%. That would still be as fast as anyone.
