Do the staggered start but have someone with a stop watch to keep the gap they had before the red flag.

So we don’t put the red flag out when they probably should have.  Guys go by him twice.  Then 7 seconds before it can be a complete race they red flag.  Sometimes, way too often, the AMA has their head up their ass.  Levi winning is better for my fantasy….but Max got robbed.

My buddy tried to tell me they were going to start fixing the races now that there is betting...

ALL of you being in their shoes would be pumped to get a staggered restart at the near end of a race to use it to your advantage…

That’s insightful, but if there was less than 3 total laps left, shouldn’t that rule be null and void? Complete horse crap. 

There had to have been a communication problem with the AMA officials, they had a long stretch of time where they just had a yellow flag out for that crash with the medic out there ( why not the Red Cross flag that whole time? ). 
Then with 7 seconds left they decide to go straight to a red flag?

I say there had to be a communication problem, otherwise this seems kind of silly. 

This reminded me of the last lap overtake from Verstappen on Hamilton after the safety-car in 2021 in Abu Dhabi, anyone remember that race?

Tbf he was not really walking off very well. But they could've looked at the clock and made the decision in waiting with him for 4 minutes. Clearly he wasn't dying or unconscious. Someone made a bad call there. He really wasn't in a dangerous place to wait out 2.5 laps.
