We’re missing this choice? I’ve seen him mentioned in almost every thread about the Lawrence’s injuries / HRC. 

And I don’t know if HRC wants to take that hit to their image having him on the team. I’m sure the Brayton WSX incident a few years ago didn’t exactly help him make any friends over there, either.

When was the last time the factory Honda team had a fill in rider? Unless they have a team sponsor that requires a bike on the track at every race...

I think fill in riders is a Bad idea. It make the bike look bad . Not sure why teams started this but the Bad results make the bike look bad.  I don’t think anyone buys a bike anymore because it wins though, like the 80-90,s.  It’s like hv a cover band singer fill in because the real singer is sick.  Everyone thinks the band sucks then.  

Fuq it… I’d rather see Philthy Phil on it.

Anyone know how well Jo rides a 450? There are some riders that can go back and forth from one to the other. I’m not knocking his riding, I honestly don’t know how he rides a 450. 

Plenty of teams would take Vince in a second. 

They put Craig on a 450 in 17 and 18 I believe. 

Ok hear me out Vince and either Deano or Savatgy.  That semi will be like a steel cage match it would be great to watch.  Kidding aside I'd rather see anyone but Vince get that shot.  

Is Marvin Musquin an ambassador for KTM? Outside idea for sure but he probably still has some spark

Put DeanO on one of them for the rest of the season and a proper farewell tour for DeanO. Throw Jo on the other one like they did with Canard in 2010.

Vince would not be a good choice in any possible way. There's a reason he's been around this long and doesn't already have a factory seat and you can be HRC would be the last group to even consider it. With the lack of available riders the best thing HRC could do from a marketing stand point is put Billy on the 450 for the rest of the season. I feel SLR would be down to let him at least do the east coast stuff. He's the only one that could get on the bike and just make the night show and still get nothing but positive reaction from it. If dude started making mains it would be a win all around. Not sure how riding a 450 at that pace with his current injuries would be but beyond that I don't see a way it doesn't work

There’s more to promoting sponsors than just good results. WHO is out there would be a spectacle? Yeah they may roll round out of the points but who will draw eyes to the truck and the bike?? 

I know it would never happen, but just for a second imaging if they put JMB out for practice… I for one would have my eyes glued to him! Most of my age group would also.. That Honda CRF450 would be on everyone’s screens all over the world, and THAT is good for their product and sponsors.

I can see Deano getting put on the bike for a bit.

The obvious answer is Hymas on the 450 for west coast rounds, get him experience seeing the tracks and it'll help him build confidence.
