I paid $9051 OTD for a 2024 GasGas MC250F FE, but I see a local dealer has them at $10,350. They were selling them at $9200 OTD before Christmas. Not really sure what is going on with pricing but I'm happy with the deal I got.

No, you're doing it right. The creditors take 30% if they believe that's the best they're going to get. They settle instead of incurring the cost of getting lawyers involved, taking the person or company to court, winning a judgement, and still getting nothing, because the person/company doesn't have it.
And then the premium mystique goes out the window.
How would you know where the parts are made, only the country of assembly is indicated on the VIN number!
New KTM 2-strokes are good example for that they are blowing out crazy.
100% made in Austria, just like the infamous 790 series which had issues (newer 890 gen now made in China)

790 production in China started for MY 2023, I seem to remember they've had major issues with it before production was moved to China, not after. I don't really keep tabs on this either, feel free to share if you have more info.
If you are referring to the 2T cylinders, some are made by Kymco (not CFMoto), but those are the ones that are holding up. It is a few of the Austrian Elko cylinders that have suffered failures.
Thanks, I knew I read somewhere they had some made in China. Not a very popular opinion, but not all things coming from China are bad. I remember my dad saying "I wouldn't buy that Japanese junk" and now it's some of the highest quality products. One day China products may have a good reputation.
