Mind you 125's:

Broc Glover 6'0
Mike Bell 6'2
Ron Lechien 6'3
Travis Pastrana 6'1 or 2
Ricky Johnson 6'1
yeah... maybe it's just all the majority of the class is 5'8 and 140 dripping wet.

I could see him on the podium. I think he has the speed of the top guys, but he couldn't quite ride at that speed for the full 30 minutes at Hangtown.

He will figure it out and you will probably see him on the podium by the end of the season, if not on the top step.

He's not too big for 250f's...look at that moto 1 start. His bike looked competitive with the Geico bikes and the PC team. I just think he needs to get in better condition. Arm pump can slow you down soo bad. I really hope he gets a win. Seems like a good guy. He's got a good attitude and doesnt take himself too seriously. I know of some young fast kids who walk around like they have sticks up their asses. you try to talk to them and be friendly and they think you're an idiot

Will he win a moto... that's a tough one. It seems, when he gets a good start, he always goes backwards
quite a bit. Also, if Freestone is like previous years, and his conditioning is in question, it's going to a hard
weekend for sure.

I think he looks solid out there speed wise with more to come but he needs a little more experience pushing it past mid way. He has the ability to do it with a solid program. Some say he may ride for his brothers team someday and I believe he will not have the same drive to train as he would on another team. I hope i am wrong. I hope he surprises us all and hits the box a few times soon.

How does somebody look too big for a bike? If that were the case, wouldn't that same rider look too big for any bike seeing they're all about the same size physically?

Back in the day there were top riders the size of Malcom. 135-165 is the max now. Gone are the days of the 6' SX rider.

He's got speed, but there are guys faster, and more guys as fast who can last, and most of those guys are better equipped and supported. There's just a lot of guys who are positioned better this year. That's not a dis on him. It'll be a great, great success if he can get a moto podium IMO.

There was a lot of debate on this very same subject a couple days ago.....and from what people have said was....the bikes really are not that good. They are awesome for mere mortals.....but these guys need everything they can get , to run at the front. "I Guess" that was one of the reasons J-law might not of shown up....because he doesn't care for the bike. But who knows? There is more to the story besides that..........

Don't think so. Like Rattray, just a better fit on a bigger bike. Rattray by the way needs to get the heck off that little thing.

Would I like to see him take one?,HELL YEAH!!

But will he? not this year IMO. definitely a force for the future if he doesn't screw himself up through crashing.

no, he wont win a moto.

I dont think, however, that the fade is so much about his conditioning, its part of it but. I think he has to work so much harder to run the leaders pace on that bike because of the bike and his size, that noone could do that for 30 +2. At Hangtown in the first moto, you could see how hard he was having to work to run up front, and when i say work, I dont mean he was riding over his head.

I do think he will last longer as the season goes on though, but get to where he can do what he has to no that bike to last 30 +2, I dont think if he had RC fitness it could last that long. Hes 190 I bet, on a bike 4 to 5 hp down (which in that clase is HUGE).

I don't think so. He's fast, but there are too many guys that run his pace and faster for the full moto. I also think he'd be a better fit on the 450. If I remember right, Malcolm rode a 250 smoker a lot as an amateur against the thumpers. Probably a reason for thatWhistling

I like Mookie, but I think a more reasonable expectation would be to consistantly finish in the top 5-10.

Red Bud is the real sand track in the series.....fuck Southwick.
Thank goodness DD was here to point that out for you.

Stewarts outdoor track reminds me of Red Bud. Deep loamy ruts and big jumps. I never said Red Bud and JS7 Compound have the same dirt, but it looks similiar. I haven't been to either track, so it's just speculation on my part.
Deep loamy ruts? You've been playing the compound to much grasshopper.

Maybe on a PC, FC or R-Star Zook...Top 5 potential If and WHEN he get's his training nailed down.

The point: He's so damn big that he'll need ALL really good stuff to be competitive (I'm really thinkin' chassis and Ti stuff...not jus' a motor).

Now, if ya put him on a Fo-Fiddy...he'd have a better chance at a Top 5
top 5 on a 450, no way!

14 years in the making and a few key leader injuries but yes. He deserves it.
