Knew we would have ads and thought no big deal (even though they have 30 minutes to show ads between motos), but not at 4 -5minutes of lost racing at each cut...and..I can stream better quality from a phone, can know not to run a feature during the race, know how not to cut away to commercial at 6 minutes...

You could say that about any of the.. all of a sudden improved a bunch racers.. This is just a year of attrition. Some are taking advantage and are having their shining moments. As the saying goes.. gotta be in it to win it and in this case, in it to get podium/top5's they "probably" wouldn't get when the field...

Why not? It's budgeted already. You have sponsors names to be out there (presence in the pits at the least), and who knows, you could make someones dream come true. Maybe they get a main qualifier or.. an LCQ winner. They will get TV time regardless. "Filling in for Star Racing Yamaha is ______")

I've never understood the reasoning of whomever the fill in HAS to be a top rider. Are they that worried that their "factory bike" doesn't make into a top position and looks bad? Heck, they have the ultimate excuse.. "he's just filling in". Scour the results, ask questions in the pits, and do a few phone calls to see who...

That's just about any rider.. especially the ones with a colorful past. Bet if we posted.."And Tyler Evans..." or "Alessi did" or "John Dowd is making a...." would get clicks too.

Geez... it was ONE race. Let's see after a couple and then you can make the claims of "Definite winner".... or not.

Or maybe Peick should go faster and beat his 250 teammate. Or use that "nothing to lose" attitude next weekend as his results haven't been so great these last 3-4 races. His current 5th OA right now will drop to 8th or worse if he doesn't pick it up.

You think a factory will give him a SX only deal? Doubt it. It was an impressive ride though. Better than I thought he'd be, which was around 8-10th.
