I’m so confused. Hes been railing against braces for years, including knee braces. Hes now saying safety over efficiency… but thats the exact opposite of what he had been saying. Hes been saying being efficient is safer overall and wearing braces will make you crash more. When did this change? Also wasnt jett wearing braces and this still happened? Confusing story he posted.

I wore POD K8s for a year but I just didnt care for them that much. I like the TP199s way better.
At first I was confused then read a comment saying he was being sarcastic.. And yep I can see that now haha
ryan posted the other day his normal anti brace nonsense, he was wearing the same shirt and hat in that one… wonder why he changed his tune so fast.

I don’t see how a knee brace prevents what happened to Jett. I feel the same about neck braces.

Jett wears knee braces so this video is tongue in cheek. I don't know why he's so anti-protection though. It's like someone getting concussed and going "Boy I thought those helmets were suppose ta' do somethin." Does he think had Jett not been wearing knee braces that he wouldn't have dabbed his foot or wouldn't have torn his ACL?
I don’t detect an ounce of sarcasm in his video. But I suppose it could be. I also just assume his video are just stream of consciousness at this point so he’s liable to say anything.
Turn the volume up, learn to pickup on social cues and facial expressions.

I’ve watched it a couple times and if it’s sarcasm I’m not picking up on it. His mannerisms seem the same as in most of his other videos. What cues are you seeing?
You can’t be serious ? Watch it a few more times, you’ll eventually get it. If not, I guess he used good bait.
I race with a permanently torn ACL. Chose to not get it repaired and build leg strength instead. I now wear knee braces for all the help I can get. Ryno needs to understand that there is no one size fits all for every situation.
Maybe he started eating different shrooms?

I agree. Just because you used to be able to go fast on a motorcycle, doesn't mean you know a whole lot.
Ryno is the LAST person I'm going to for any advice on a dirtbike - safety gear and riding technique.
I wear a 09 fox helmet because I like the way it fits. Not concerned at all about extreme precautions . Being that I,m an advanced crasher . I practice crashing . Why doesn’t everyone else. Once you perfect the numerous cartwheels with your body exploding threw the snow fence . Your all good.
The sarcasm stems from the fact that Jett was wearing braces and still got hurt.

I will admit I completely missed it as well which means I might have to hand in my Australian citizenship haha.. but It's the way that he repeats all the things that he believes the opposite of and the fact that Jett was wearing braces and he probably did know that but still did his ACL would prob suggest in his mind that they don't really protect riders..
Ah ok yea guess I missed it too. Happens.
