Come on man.....can't we just be happy a manufacturer has actually listened to the core base. Build excitement and anticipation.
I think it was an awesome teaser....throwing in posts that very easily could have been taken from this forum.
Now all Kawi needs to do is keep the price reasonable. KTMGG/Husq is out of their gourd with their so called techno wizard 2 strokes pricing.
Bad take.
KTM don’t have a problem with it. Not to mention doing the same thing in Orange red & white!
Most daft question on vital this week??
For those of you massively excited about this- will you feel as excited if you find out it’s TPI or TBI??

Are you going to buy a new green one pro? Come on man let’s GO! I want to see you on a new steed with your trusty cr next to it. Have PC do it up for you splitfire style.
If the turbo rumors have any merit I suspect direct inject would be the ticket.
Owning a 300sx myself, yes. Used to go back and forth between YZ’s and KTM’s. Now that I’m used to counter balanced, electric start, TBI, those features are deciders for me. Always loved Kawi’s from my racing days, so I’m hoping for a KX300(x)
Yes I will be thrilled and will buy one.

My Gasgas mc250 is the first new bike in nearly 10 years that I’m happy with off the showroom. Runs absolutely fantastic with the fuel injection. Like a 2stroke and a 4stroke had a baby and it came out more 2stroke than 4.
If Kwai was smart the would build a frame that you could pick one offf 4 2 stoke motors 125 200 300 or 500 put sprockets carbs and ecu to match your motor make it interchangeable
Not quite as old as yours, but I sold this old girl last summer. Super fun bike.

Roller Decoaster - that is a beautifully composed photo. nice work
Psssssst…
Uh…hey there…are you aware of where Kawasaki manufactures motorcycles…at multiple locations…?
Asking for a friend.
So when we will see bike?
Naw I m good bike wise . Trying to make money to buy some parts , No money yet. So 3rd or 4th week I,ll hv to race expert. Can race 125 class yet even if your a 250A rider. I,m dropping a tooth on the rear the bike is that strong. Easier to ride more speed to go faster. Maybe I can sign up for 2 cash classes then & 125. Kinda of a blessing I,m not making anything. Because I hv to win money to keep racing or it’s Over.
Keep us posted on the adventures. Did you get your other engine together yet?
Sweet…I still have a set of green/orange AXO gear from 00/01 era…
This just seems so impossible that Kawi would make a KX125 and KX250. I’m still seriously doubting they will bring these two back. I could see them do some little two stroke thing to be ridden on the streets of India or Thailand.
Pit Row
Man McGrath and AC said that it is under development, you cannot expect to see it on the same day it was announced.
It’s like Triumph all over again - “Debuting in ‘27! Get Ready!!”
I was really close to purchasing a YZ250x, before I heard about the new kawi, I hope more news comes soon, can’t wait much longer, 25 season starts probably 1st weekend in March
Where is the ‘nerve centre’?
Where are new ideas born and bred?
Where is the R&D?
I wouldn’t think the sweat shops in Taiwan are doing the ‘real’ work, would you??
I’ll bet a quarter that it might be late ‘26. No insider info just a guess.I seriously doubt it’ll be what we think or want, which is a new 125 and 250.
So it’s a good thing that Kawasaki hasn’t called me yet. Let us know when they call you and let us know what they’re gonna build!
As much as I like simplicity, I gotta say that FI is a good thing. You’re right that KTM blew it on the mapping, but once they figure it out, and especially when the aftermarket comes out with ECMs that’ll be easier to map, FI will be a great thing. Just because KTM screwed it up, doesn’t mean Kaw can’t get it right.
Agree. I love simplicity, especially on a two stroke. But if FI is what it takes to bring smokers back, I won't complain. A fuel injected two stroke is better than any four stroke for me.
Keep it simple. What everyone needs is a budget 125 and 250 to stay within classes. Keep them carbs and put a modern suspension and aluminum frame under them. Keep them 7k or less and let’s goo!!
Mod cylinder is on practice bike bottom end. To much for the stock clutch & new plates. It tears the clutch up. 3 piece Hinson is needed. Mod bike cases r split yet, trans needs micro polishing. Brown said his 01 PC KX125 was as fast or faster than a mod 150. Just release that into a 250f chassis. Koehn mxgp guy raced that bike in 18 along with this Tiny Rocket rider that no one knows his name . 18# had a big lead then flies into the pit his silencer fell off. He points at his mechanic like you f er . Kids yelling fix my bike . Haha . These Super fast kids r all I’ve America too. If you want to be in the top 8 , you better be on your A game. Looks like it handles Great . Working on taxes sitting at ts today.
That is a picture worth framing. Seriously. It should hanging in the lobby at KMC.
Kawi will probably buy KTM and then end up with a KTM w/ green plastic.
