Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
They went the Triumph route. Absolutely no information.
I guess that leaves the door open for a 125.
I’d guess an off road bike like the KTM XC series, I don’t think they would be able to fully comply with the street legal part of a dual sport in some states. Could be wrong, though, and in some states it probably wouldn’t be impossible to legally dual sport them.
We were all catfished..

Came hear to say this, pretty cool! I messaged the local shop and said I want whatever it is when it is available, hopefully before 2027 haha.
Adam confirmed full-size 2 stroke. Nothing specific about xc or Mx. hopefully both.
Also said ‘in development’ so it might be awhile…
RDL is unwatchable this year...terrible.
FAIL. My local dealer asked me this morning when I called about this news flash, "Have you started drinking early on race day? We have no idea what you are talking about.... News to us."
This industry is so amateur sometimes. Always predictable that it was going to be smoke and mirrors (no pun intended)
Apparently Kawasaki learned nothing about how to introduce a new model from the roasting Triumph took when they trickled out info on their new 250. Unbelievable. 🤦🏼♂️
They (Brayton) said it “is in the house.” More to come?
How can this be a trickle when it was little announced today they were developing a two stroke? There was never a PR even saying the bike would be announced today. Just speculation from members here.
Fuck you Kawasaki.
It’s not like they killed a kitten on live TV or anything…..!
PaxTrax. LOL
Ooooh boy. How cool would an updated KX500 be?
Kawasaki announced they are bringing a 2-stroke! This is a great thing!
If they really wanted to blow our minds, they would have Stew introduce it and ride it in the first vid. One can dream.
Pit Row
That announcement was a total soft off.
Brings back 2 stroke bike…. Most of Vital hates on them.
Who fucking cares how its PR’d…they have a full size one coming! Win
So they announce today they are developing a full size 2T and people are somehow upset about it?
Would not shock me a bit if it isn't shown to the world until Lorettas.... That is a Kaw event after all.
God I hope not.
Kinda meant it in jest. Hearing about it on vital, the IG post, being told to make sure and watch RDL for some news. Then when the spot comes it's a big nothing burger. I can't even ride anymore but seeing Kawi put out a new smoker would be awesome especially if it were a 125.
hopefully its a cool offroad bike.
hopefully its a cool offroad bike.
Here’s what I think happened… The one dude posted that we should watch RDL for some exciting news, probably referring to the same vague news from Kawi, not assuming that Kawi would post about it on IG before RDL.
But then everyone saw this thread and assumed that the guy knew that Kawi would post their teaser, and that there would be more details, when he was just referring to the teaser all along. Leaving everyone upset with themselves to blame for making a connection where there wasn’t one, lol
No matter what there will be people upset. I’m hoping for a KX/KDX 300 legit offroad race bike like the KTM’s 300 XC. 🤣
Can't wait to see it but curious what makes someone buy it over a yz. Is it going to be the first Japanese 2 stroke with fuel injection and estart? If not is the hope that shiny new thing hype / kawasaki loyalists pulls away some yamaha customers? What did the old kx250s do best? If I were spending money for a brand new Japanese 2 stroke I think the logical choice is going to be the yz that at least has 20 years of aftermarket development
Either way glad they're doing it, hope other brands follow and we start to see some more advancements in the 2 stroke offerings
Post a reply to: Kawasaki is bringing the two stroke back!
