Nick or Kevin? Pretty sure they aren’t full of shit and from memory I can’t remember ever seeing a rebate on the YZ’s before

I was told $750

He’s full of shit, to say never is such a stretch. The 125s and 250s are both discounted at several dealers, I picked up my 2014 yz250 for about 5500 because of rebates, yes 10 years ago, but never means never right. There’s been rebates here and there but less frequent then the four strokes because they make less 2 strokes and sell less and don’t need to pump them out the doors.

You guys may have missed the part where SoCalMX70 when he bought his 23 which was a few years ago and I said I don’t remember seeing any rebates on the 2 strokes before. I know there’s a rebate on them right now, but for memory I don’t remember ever seeing rebates on them anytime before this.

I scored a Honda 450RS for $7600 OTD on Black Friday with the swag kit at 1.99%. I thought that was good deal. Haven’t seen swag kit yet though.  Supposed to ship to dealer?

They told us over the phone they had it in stock and you picked up the bike you would get it. We found out when we got there the dealer orders the swag kit after the bike is sold. It came in 1 week later. Had to make an extra 2 hour round trip to get it but was worth it I believe. The canvas and awning are pretty heavy built.

It’s a little concerning it’s been a month for me but with the holidays and everything we will see I guess.  I did see a note maybe on Hondas IG it was while supplies last.

How are you guys scoring bikes under MSRP out the door? Here in central Florida I called around for both YZ125s and YZ250s and it seemed that I was gonna need to pay minimum ~1k over MSRP out the door. In some cases, 1600-2000 over MSRP.

My understanding is that Yamaha generally does not do rebates on the 2 strokes. I got a sweet deal on mine a year and a half ago only because it was Memorial Day and my local dealer had a great sale. I paid less for my 2023 than I did for my 2016.

I was hoping to get in on the very end of these $3,000 rebates for a 2024 KX.  What's the best way to narrow down a search for what you're looking for?  At this rate I doubt there's many 24s left, so do I just have to call individual dealers to see if they have one?

Cycle trader helps a bit, search a radius you are comfortable with, then you have to hit the phone and figure out dealers that don't charge fees

Found my 24 KX450 I picked up a few days after Christmas on Cycle Trader like stated above.  Just put miles you are willing to drive and see what comes up.   I live Houston area, I found a decent deal in Longview, Tx.  I didn't get the screaming deal some got, but best I could find.  I still had to drive 4 hours one way to pick it up.

It may take a few phone calls.  I actually got a decent price on a 25 KX450 from a dealer about 15 min away down the gulf freeway but still a couple grand more than a 24.  I doubt a guy can live on the difference between a 24 and 25.

What was the quote on the 25?

I got a price on a 25 $87otd n $13200 for the SR. They don’t discount or give good interest rates for SR.   I want the SR but think it would be impossible to sell a yr later for $10 k?  Does anyone think the SR is werth it for $13200 otd? Or buy the 25 n add pipe n extras?
