"IQ-Draining posts on Vital" 😂🤣💀
Its not the bike its the latest works Showa suspension.
They had no issues running the 24 works Showa stuff at the last few nationals, SMX and MXDN.
In an interview I think in Paris they said they weee struggling with the suspension.
Once sorted….

Yes; it was their saving grace (and the '83 was better yet).
Probably because it didn't have radiator shrouds. 😃
They don’t need to check anything at all in that regard. The ‘24 frame is still homologated for quite a few more years.
The strange part about it to me was Honda famously refused to FIX the bike for Ken and Chase (and countless others over the years) yet the family made a bunch of changes and it was reported greatly improved.
You know, I give them a pass back then since it was only the 2nd year of WC on the CRs and we were all still learning so much. We didn't have anything to compare them to, so no real criticism.
But jump ahead 43 years and Honda chooses to pay homage to one of the fugliest shrouds ever - the '95 RM - and give it smaller, angular slots.
Sorry, no pass this time.
Hunter was actually charging in the main and went down. He slowed near the end.
Nothing statistically to point out the bikes are out of whack, Jett's head, not so much.
They can always say he had problems with the setup and blame it on someone else.... Believe me it is more difficult to explain to Suzuki how came second with a bike of 20?? 😅
He’s only a pretend renderer mate, too many teeth
Yeah but, did your mother buy said Toughskins on layaway at Kmart? (me too lol)
yeah, beacuse Ken has never had a setup problem with another bike/brand before. The guy goes through more suspension settings and guys than what Magoofan creates memes...
Tough crowd! Obviously missed the setup and/or setup issues, they will get it straightened out…if anything it just made the series more interesting knowing Jett has some work to do. Not all bad for the Hknda camp as Jo won. I see some drilled engine hangers and less torque on chassis bolts going on at Honda this week😂 I like old

Funny thing…
I see that suspension on other bikes in the main…bikes that finished on the podium.
I’m jus’ sayin’…
come on dude your smarter then that and you know there are way to many other variables to make a blanket statement like that. we know what works for one rider doesn't mean it works for another. It's round 1, I'm still betting Jett ends up on the podium more often then he doesn't.
Here’s what was posted…as if the suspension, itself, is the problem…
“Its not the bike its the latest works Showa suspension.”
And I responded with an actual fact. That’s all there is to it. The new Showa stuff is EXCELLENT. A rider…indeed…a team…needs to do the work and find the settings that work on Saturday-night. That’s all there is to it.
Been there, done that, seen them do it…as in seeing the “20”, Kaipo, the Showa techs and the riders bust their asses finding a base for BOTH riders. So, like I’m saying…the Showa stuff is fine…the chassis and the settings…apparently…ARE NOT.
Capisce?
Pit Row
I get what your saying. I don’t think anyone is implying the Showa stuff is bad they just haven’t found the setting yet. Every bikes chassis will handle different settings in there own way. I’d still bet on them to figure it out. We pretty much see the same thing from every team when a new bikes comes out. The Lawrence’s aren’t immune to it. When KTM’s new chassis came out it was a disaster for the race team, so much so they updated it.
On the other end Kawi seems pretty good at getting there riders comfortable relatively quickly.
Just because the Race Media bobble heads said bike is bad … its a dumpster fire for Honda now.
Media stirring the pot.
A1 is always a crap shoot and most of the teams are back making adjustments over the next 2 or 3 races so lets see how it boils out.
Apparently Joe didn't like the Lawrences 250 settings when he first got on the bike last year and struggled to find his own settings.
This year he has found a setting that he likes and its working!
JS7 on the broadcast pointed Jetts settings out as he was crossing the straight in the race with the front end shaking its head.
Matthes and JT discussed the same thing on the review show.
Hunter crashed 3 times in the whoops/ sand section.
Jett looked off all night and couldn't trust the bike.
ML discussed it in his review show today.
Why they just dont go back to what worked with the 24 Showa has me beat. Which I think was their 23 stuff as the 24 was playing up last year.
What we all saw Saturday was obviously Jett was off, not feeling it. Then it was compounded by a very deep experienced field including multiple past champions who have worked all off season to beat him. No one is going to give Jett an easy pass this year. So a bad start is going to be a lot of work. I think Jett is not as liked in the paddock as he thought.
I think they had to fight for the settings they were on last year. there's a lot of politics involved, it should be as simple as the rider likes this better so we'll use that but that's not the way it works all the time. especially on a factory team.
Probably a bit silly to blame the bike for one bad race where he had two crashes, no? And the new bike isn't all that different from the previous model anyway.
Are you new to the internet?
Why does everyone keep saying he crashed twice? First turn he never fell down just got pushed inside the tuffblocks and got hung up a bit, and then he fell in the sand.
Did I miss something else?
What other Honda 450s finished on the podium?
Because he did and yes. Check the lap chart I posted.
Does that mean the Star bikes have issues too?
What?
