Eli always has a skill of answering questions without revealing any details. Jace is doing a lot of work here. (40 minutes in).
I been watching more and more of his podcast and will definitely watch the eli one, but my beef with Jase is his take on privateers, still kinda pisses me off
Jase has a unique style of interviewing where he gets people relaxed- listened to the Ron Ron and Lil Hill episodes this week and they were awesome. This one will be epic!
Eli learned to fly during his Achilles recovery. What a badass!

Listening to the moto60 show is comical. Zacho will never not pick Eli to win since that tweet. 5 years from now, Tomac is going to be on his couch eating ice cream and Zacho gonna be like “I think Tomac has the speed to win this weekend.
Was an ok interview. Jase gives the answers to his questions too much for my liking.
Eli’s best long form interview is his whiskey throttle episode in my opinion.

That is the first "full" podcast of Gypsy's that I've listened to. It was well done.

This is one of those times in life where you pinch yourself and ask, is this real life? Or it’s like a dream you had and you wake up and it’s reality. Haven’t listened to the full pod, but this has to be the best eli pod, he’s a lot more open than I thought, his personality came out a lot too.

After seeing Tomac on Pings Whiskey Throttle I thought Tomac was mildly autistic. Not throwing in shade. He seemed kind of awkward and seemed to stutter a little. I assume now he was very shy. He is a pleasure to listen to. He can actually put sentences together without a yeah,no and dudes and bros.
The best part was hearing and seeing Eli talk about the clutch. His eyes lit up. It’s was hilarious
I like the fact he said a stock 450 doesn't have enough power. Who else has ever said that? Lol
It was crazy at the time because when it was under the factory Yamaha tent, the whole stigma around the YZ450 was that it had to be detuned to make it rideable. Then Star took over the 450 program and literally made the bike as fast as possible first and then made the chassis work around that. Eli is a beast. Cooper Webb is on record saying he wants nothing to do with Eli’s bike because it’s too fast.
That was a sweet podcast. Eli has the right approach to racing and the whole deal.
Did Eli manage to get a word in?
If he didn’t, the podcast wouldn’t be this long. He opened up a little and let his personality shine through.
Remember Phil saying he twists the throttle like he wants to snap the cables... and when Eli is coming you know as you can hear that 450 screaming hahaha!
I remember standing behind the podium by the start straight at RedBud in 2022 and Eli shooting down it lap after lap and the sound that bike produced wasn’t replicated by any other 450 out there or any Yamaha. It was unreal. You knew it was Eli lol
