One of the first things out of Jett's mouth was a comment about haters. If it isn't in his head, then he's a helluva actor imho. I have no doubt he will still ride like himself this season but I kinda feel sorry for him if he can't learn to let this stuff slide off his back. Look in the mirror dude! You have the world by the short curly's!
I watched the youtube version at 1.5x speed and I know he said something about being hated but I couldn't decipher the exact words. Did he say somehing like "being hated by everyone"? What were his actual words?

Watched the entire SMX show. Well done with good info to regular viewers and a new audience. Thought they could have touched on a few more top 250 guys. The tattoo boy segment did nothing to make me a fan, not that I was before. I know I'm old and biased away from tats but displaying all those tats to a young audience isn't the image the sport needs. JMO

Ever worked with a group of people that don’t like you? Ever worked with a single person that you have a bad vibe about? You just don’t know how you feel about that person? Have you ever worked with someone you just don’t like? I will also say that one of my all time favorite athletes, Michael Jordan, is famous for obsessing over perceived slights, haters, etc.... he'd just make things up if he couldn't come up with something real. it's a little insane but not an uncommon thing for the greats to do. Anything for an extra sliver of motivation.

Yeah, it's really not a good sign IMO. He will never be as good as a Deegan at channeling the hate for the haters.
I mean I’m sure most ppl dont notice it cuz youre so used to automatically ripping on him and will all just say hes being a whiner, but as someone whos a jett fan Ive been pretty surprised how hated the kid is. It seems like 90% of the time when ppl mention his name theyre shitting on him. Ppl even complain if the announcers just say jett is good after he wins a race, tons of ppl flood the socials saying stop talking about them so much! Its definitely noticeable and I dont get why hes sooooo hated. Hes said a couple dumb things but ppl have gone over board. Back it down just a bit the kids a human and really didnt do anything thats sooooo bad. He seems like a genuinely nice kid whos amazing on a bike I dont think he deserves to get shit on soooo hard.

Who do you know personally that hates him? We throw that word around so cheaply these days (as we do with other labels). I think it's a perceived social media mirage. I think young Jettson is fucking amazing! That being said I might root for Eli or Chase or Webb or even his brother to beat him once in a while. We the true fans just don't like dominance. It gets old really quick. I wasn't RC or MC's biggest fan because of it but it didn't mean I hated them. The young man has personality in spades, and I hate to see him preoccupied with this nonsense.
That rider has so much social media experience under his belt that he uses it as a tool instead of a mental block.
