So now you are somehow making me responsible to buy the goggles I don't want in the local shop, when they have the ones I want right there, otherwise I am not supporting them?
Bizarre.
I have yet to see his brand of goggles in a shop. Cant even recall seeing anyone at the track with them.
For WPS dealers, I can't imagine many of them stock more EKS than 100%, Scott, and Fly.
Good! If you race moto x you are going to get hurt. It's just part of the deal, take your lumps. But never ,ever sue your race track! You kill it for everyone.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
If we made dirtbike tracks safe from these obstacles then we would all be fuckin flat track riders.
Naw Bro, those walls hurt when you hit them. That's gotta go too.
You keep saying this like nearly everyone who rides hasn't been injured and had some hospital bills or missed some work as a result. That's the norm in this sport. So yes, many people know exactly what they'd do in this situation because they've lived it.
Left hip, both Tib and Fib in my right leg, torn meniscus in my right knee, both of my ankles, my left arm, double fracture in my left elbow and I don’t know how many ribs. Broken things this sport has blessed me with, it’s dangerous and I’m a lucky one. It’s taken a lot more from others and they have accepted that it is a risk they take to be one of the few bad asses on this planet that call ourselves dirt bike riders.
I know Rich, I didn’t even know he could sing.
He singed pretty good to his lawyer.
Like a fucking canary.
Exactly!!!! Almost every one of the 100s of riders I know have been hurt, some badly. Both I and my son have spent more time than I'd like in ERs and in recovery. As is often said, it's not if, it's when and how bad.
The ONLY times insurance knew we'd been hurt at a track was when an ambulance was involved. Every other time (including broken bones) it happened at a state OHV area. I have not and will never sue a track UNLESS there is clear negligence (someone drives a skidsteer out there in the middle of a moto) and I've never seen that in 40+ years at the track, and in "managing" a few private tracks for people.
Ironically, flat track is dangerous as fuck. Especially at the pro level.
I have a friend that ran a flat track team. He stopped after too many deaths among the riders. Those guys are truly nuts. I went to the Sac Mile one time and the level of risk was just mind boggling.
"Shout out to all you guys that are gimping around like weebles but would never blame the consequences of your decisions on someone other than yourself."
Hey that's me 🙋
I agree. Also, speedway is different right? The bikes with the skinny tires and an insane amount of horsepower. That looks scary as hell too.
And those bikes do not have brakes.. LOL I still to this day do not understand that one.
Oh crap, that’s right! What is the thought process there? Lol
Pit Row
My comment was meant to be a joke gents 🤣
ok, but it does bring up some points about other motorcycle events being extremely dangerous! Lol
Seriously why the heck don’t speedway bikes have any brakes? weight reduction? I’ll take the half a second slower I would be as long as I can safely stop that beast😉
Brakes would actually make it more dangerous. Follow me here. If you were able to get hard on the brakes it would cause more erratic movement and make things even worse. It's similar to track cycling
Ahh, ok. Makes sense. I’ve seen some videos of some speedway crashes and they are not pretty. 😮
I was just saying that if you are deciding not to buy based on the lawsuit alone. But You knew that.
Anyone have an update on this case?
It’s a done deal. Rich got his settlement and the track lost their insurance and closed. End of story until they can find another provider. I did see that the Swap Moto series was able to secure insurance for their race weekend there. Maybe there is hope for the future.

In case anyone missed it. Fuck Rich Taylor.
As said above it's all a done deal, but it sounds like they're getting close to a solution to re-open. Currently, a couple promoters are going to host events in February.
February 1-2: Swapmoto
February 22-23: OTHG and Pasha
I'm in my 5th year on the OTHG board and helping plan our event. 22nd will be an open practice day, all tracks open. The race day on the 23rd will mainly be vet only (30+) classes, but will include a 18-29 support class. Pasha 125 race and a pit bike race will each be 25+. No kids races.
Rich should invest some of that settlement to help the track owners with track safety and securing new insurance.
But he wont..
