You got me! This is a special flattracker! Here's a real Beta 350 2-stroke...It looks like my old Beta 500 CR I sold to a friend years ago when I needed some money!
Well, I guess the argument me and all the other 4 choke followers had, will be answered. Pretty awesome! I've said, that will be the ultimate 2 stroke size, it gives the torque, power and lightness that will beat any 4 stroke. Game on...
I saw where Beta built a 350 2 stroke for Casey Stoner to flat track race at a charity event during the EICMA show. Beta states it is a precursor to producing 250/350 2 stroke MX production models for next year. According to Enduro21 mag.

Says in that article that it's coming in 2025 - perhaps as an early 2026?
All I know is they will sell whatever they make - a modern 350 2t, with a Carb ( I, personally, have no fear of FI, but hell, a Keihin, well, I've played with them for decades now) would be a wonderous thing. It may well get me to part company with some of my $$$$.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this beta proposal! Also at EICMA, Rieju has presented a 300 2 stroke EFI engine.

Perhaps the 1.6mm increase in stroke makes it easier to share 250 / 300 cases, though, (I'm probably wrong) I think at least one of the Beta 300s has a quite different B/S ratio than the general, squared up 72 / 72.
They are not constrained by a capacity limit with regards to my next sentence - though, perhaps the E3 3002t (hell, I'm probably in La La land and that Is Not what the E3 class is at all) class in Enduro GP is Not limited to 300cc?
Anyway, even without a class, and it being just too scary a thing to be allowed to pick on 450 4ts, there's plenty of Vet / Open class Racing and potential Customers out there.
I truly hope that this takes off, and it gets the other 2t makers to do a 350 / 400 / 450 2t. So many go on about how magnificent 490 Maicos were (and, indeed they were / are - I wish I'd never sold my 89 500 and 320s) , but the Maico 400s and 440s, as well as various other manufacturers 400, 430s, 465s, were quite the things.
Think of a thoroughly modern version of these genuinely big capacity 2ts, and just how good they could, well Would be.
These posts are both cool and aggravating - not a production model, but looks that way. I am toying with selling my 2003 CR250 and getting the RX300 and now I see a 350. Not sure how much longer I'll ride or race but I was thinking about moving up a couple of decades and seeing if the water is warm.
I REALLY want a 300RX to go with the 450, but I haven't pulled the trigger for whatever reason. If Beta came out with a 350RX my wallet would probably catch fire.
A bit more of the EICMA Dirt Track Legends exhibition event. Various riders and bikes, all on quite a tight little circuit, shoe horned in among a Arenacross circuit. It's at an Huge MC exhibition, there's buggerall room for a real course, of any type. I think Loris Capirossi, #65, may be on a Tomasin R&D Honda 500. Everts, is as smooth as ever through that nasty, tight little left/ right then into a bit longer right. Not bad for a bloke with precious few toes ( and a fair bit of his foot, if I recall correctly ) left after his near fatal bout with Malaria a few years ago.

Pourcel looked good too, as he usually does, but they were all hampered by being on the wrong tires for that track. They would have been better off with a hard pack knobby front and a trials uni rear.

Bikes set up as Flat Trackers (well, really, TT), SuperMoto / Motard, CPR.
Not our Oz Short Circuit 'thingo'.
What you describe is similar to what I run in my local tight, nadgery, cliff area stuff I have the CRE set up for. Fat Gummy Front Knobby, Michelin X11 Radial Trials tyre on the rear. I'm only a few Ks away from Nepean Raceway / Short Circuit. So, very convenient . Tempted to / always baited by Mates, to have a go at SC after years away from it, but, I reckon (well, I'm pretty bloody sure) I'd thoroughly Axe myself if I did it again.
PS : Yup, Pourcel looked superb, as he always does. So smooth, so precise.

Sik! Even with the pelican beak front fender, I would buy one. This is the bike that needs to be allowed in ama pro racing 450 class.
Maybe it’s because I’m old but I just love the look of those radial headed air cooled engines!!
I always liked the Gold Anodized Heads

Interesting times
I've read rumors of KTM developing a TBI 360!
It's kind of like Blonde, or Brunette!
Interesting Bore and Stroke ratio.

I they can do a 350 2 stroke... Yamaha can do a 350 YZF .. and FX. It's not that hard. LOL

You and me both man....
