Going to be hilarious if Deeg races east coast after saying he didn't race MXdN because prep time for SX would be too tight.

The truth will set you free Haiden, its ok to admit a mistake.. You didn't race MXdN because Tomac turned it down initially and you didn't want to go with AP and Sexton (translation: didn't think that team could win).

All will be forgiven next fall when Haiden, Chase and Eli team up Wink

That would be a tough team to beat. doesn't change the way deegan handled this past opportunity.  It's clear they read and hear all the negative things said about them because they always try and move the goal posts so they are "correct".  It's easy to see through if you take a birds eye view.

I feel like there was some intent of racing west coast when he said that but i’m not sure. East coast gives him what like 3 more weeks or so to prepare? He will have more time on the bike coming into sx next year than he did this year.

I think they just say whatever they think will take the heat off them in the moment.  Then down the road they say something else. rinse and repeat.

just look at the last year of moving the goal posts with his wrist injury and racing MXdN and it becomes pretty apparent.

It's pretty hilarious to me how much of the noise they hear and clearly let it get to them.

still have mad respect for him as a racer though, dudes a badass.  Wouldn't hate to see someone give him some competition and see how his tune changes if he starts being consistently beat (don't see that happening on 250's though).

Jett better enjoy his time now because Haiden is coming for him.

I can see him being a threat to him outdoors. I don't think anyone is touching Jett in SX for awhile.

Geriatric Coop was a broken thumb away from winning the title. It wasn’t a runaway.

No doubt. I'd expect less mistakes this year with even more speed. Not to mention being at the front every damn start. I just think he's more naturally gifted at sx. Plain and simple. I'm here for it though. I'd rather watch Deegan ride than anyone on the gate.

January - “Yeah, I had a crash and it was just like, uh, I sprained my wrist pretty bad so I took like… it was only like a week off,” he said. “I was trying to train like a little low key. Wasn’t posting much for a while. Just, you know, kind of locked in. Didn’t have my filmer come to the track or anything and then about the last week or so it’s about go time. So, I was like we can get some videos up and get back in the flow of things. But, yeah, we did have a crash, hurt the wrist a little but nothing major. We ended up being good. So we have a wrist brace on it now for just a little more support because you know it is sore sometimes.”

August - "I ended up breaking my wrist four weeks before the first round I had to get it fixed. I got to ride one week maybe before the first round."

How's that for no assumptions? Now do the thing where you justify it like all the fan boys do

If that's the best you got, then you need to do better.  Almost every racer has downplayed an injury, and for a very good reason. They don't want their competition to have a mental edge.

What you haven't shown, but have claimed is that Haiden has repeatedly lied, and demonstrated a pattern of lies. Again, your assumptions (not just you, but all the anti-Deegan nuts) don't count here, anymore than your above example means much.

Even granting Haiden lied, that does not establish that he's a liar. If that's the case, then we all are liars since we have all essentially said things not quite true.

He's actually been very consistent with his claims, admitting the injury was worse that he initially let on, that he didn't know if he would be able to race the MXdN, that surgery and recovery would be required, etc.

But the loonballs came out in full force with their internet medical degrees, a few psychology degrees on his mental state and being afraid to race Kay and Lucas, as well as scheduling experts ready to guide his career and exactly how much prep time is needed, etc. etc.

It's quite comical and I'm sure if the Deegans reading it they are having a good laugh.

Should he do a sitdown where he describes every detail of his injury, his recovery, and his meal plan going forward?  Maybe the color of his underwear is relevant to a few of you as well.

As stated several times, the issue is the repeated and blatant lying when the truth would have worked just fine.

Then EVERY pro rider needs to be held to the same standard.   They ALL lie about injuries.   It is the way things are.

Bloody hell Marissa!  Your logic has utterly collapsed.

"Even granting Haiden lied, that does not establish that he's a liar."   In case all your plastic surgery has impacted on your capacity to understand the meaning of words, a person who lies is a liar.

It’s not shitting on anyone, that’s just how shit works.

If John Tomac made a similar statement the Vital Lynch Mob would be tripping over themselves to suck him off, but since it’s Deegan the butt hurt is strong.

Comedy.

Maybe I'm just weird but I don't like being lied to and treated like I'm too stupid to notice. I don't think that makes me a hater.

He’s racing East Coast again from the sounds of his interviews.

Which makes it even more curious why he would skip the MXdN to undergo his minor procedure to remove the screws from his "sprained "wrist.  He's got another 5 weeks to recover.

What if some random Vitard speculated that the Deegans really just wanted another 5 weeks to cycle a round and clean up before they face scrutiny?

One of the screws caused ligament damage, which extended his recovery time to probably 5 or 6 weeks vs 2 weeks or so. He wants as much prep time as he can get because he didn’t get any(after breaking the wrist)going into this year. If he didn’t break his wrist so close to east coast this year, he would have won his coast. Even with breaking his wrist he was only 4 points behind tom. Haiden was on another level in mx and smx.

Jett better enjoy his time now because Haiden is coming for him.

So the guy who raced his very first serious SX race just 4 years ago, and now has 3 SX titles, should be worried about a guy who’s about to line up for his 3rd go at winning 1?……..yeah nah.

The depth of speculation and downright personal offense displayed in here, for an athlete (who gets paid to race, not pander to our emotions) that most don't personally know and vice-versa, brings me back to the days of pointless emotional dealings with my 9th grade girlfriend.

I can hear the responsive keys clacking away now..."Welcome to Vital"

Ugh, still 69 days to go...

Jett didn’t win his first two attempts either. You’re missing a year. Like it or not he’s on the exact same trajectory, if not a little more dominant…

The depths to which some will go to ignore his flaws, deny his mistakes, believe his obvious lies, etc also has a very immature relationship feel to it.

Lying isn't lying. You can't prove it. That's not what he meant. He's just passionate. He really wanted to be there but things came up. You don't understand him like I do.....

if it were really just about liking watching the guy ride motorcycles like you claim you'd feel zero need to defend any of it, but here you are defending your crush. As long as he keeps getting some of you off occasionally I'm sure you'll keep giving him a pass.

Good racing to come...Deegan will find a way to challenge Jett when he lines up for his 450 SX debut. He is on the 250 next year trying to bag a SX title and will defend his outdoor title before moving up in 26.

Deegan will line up for his 450 debut in 2026 SX...I can't wait...

Man, your white-knighting for Deegan is cringeworthy. You were going ok but it all turned to crap in the last paragraph.
