It’s been a long time coming, it was no easy win but they got it done. .

Thought it was worthy of its own thread.

Webster crushed it. After his Qualifying moto I thought he might not be able to handle the pressure but he did. Him being the second best 250 in moto 1 won it for them.

Didn’t think it was ever going to happen! Well done team.

Reedy’s currently in Australia, I’m sure he’s got a grin ear to ear.

As much as I wanted USA to win, I'm actually just as happy that you guys won. Good job mates!

Ya, I know how you feel...I not a Aussie but I was pulling for you guys there. Those last few laps with Jett and Tim going at it....I was like fuuuck Jett, you don't need to win this...the anxiety was through the ceiling.

Had to create an account just to comment on this thread! Long time listener, first time caller.

Full disclosure, 40 year old Aussie been living in Canada for a decade. So pumped for the boys, was going crazy on those last laps especially when Gajser caught Jett but they got over the line and all 3 guys did their part. Awesome racing all round, track looked like garbage but the quality of riders made it an amazing 3 motos.

Was great to read comments from American fans congratulating the Aussies, but also really disappointing to read comments from others saying "if Deegan was there we would have won". Really? Is that really necessary? You just can't let them have it and let them enjoy it? Deegan, Sexton, Hymas weren't there so there is no ifs, buts or maybes. It is what it is and it ain't what it ain't and the best team won. So proud of the Aussie team!

Well deserved and really cool to be able to witness some history with their first win! Those boys are young too, Australia’s future at the MXoN is bright.

Congrats ‘straya

Congratulations Australia, fully deserved! Great that the first win came at one of the best MXON's for years, with a field full of the world's best. That last race was a classic 👌

What was up with the Anthem. Was half AAF and half Symphony.
Granted it was probably pretty dusty on the old record, and might still have had the packaging on it.

Fucken Oath! You boody rippers.

All the boys rode well but Webster was the unsung hero.  Everyone knew what the Lawrences could do but we needed a solid moto from our MX2 rider.
