You have no idea how accurate that has been for me.

Honestly i felt very little to no difference. Ive never really felt the harsh feeling everyone talks about with this chassis anyway. I mean it is definitely firm feeling but I've never felt that it was overly stiff or harsh. I have a well setup set of kyb forks on it which obviously make a big difference.

Another annoying AOMC problem is ordering something only to find out it is not in stock!

If it doesn't show a specific quantity in stock don't order it. Even then it took 2 wks to get something the last time I ordered and only 2 days of that was actual shipping time.

I made my own too, but work at a machine shop so I am spoiled. As far as noticing a difference, I will say yes, but along with some other things like REP linkage, AME grips, get rid of that single top bar mount. That alone is stiff as crap. Back off a quarter turn on your swing arm nut. All these add up.

On another note, the bike is a husky 2024 501w, Baja bike. I recently bought a new 450 xcf-w. This is a pds bike, no linkage. So the frame is different mainly in the shock mounting area. I notice ZERO of the harshness I get on the Husky with this frame. So, I have left the engine mounts stock. Rode them back to back out in the desert and when I do that I realize how harsh the rear of the Husky is in comparison, ever after all the mods.

I feel safe in saying nobody “needs” to drill holes in the bike to go faster.

And thats it right there. You'll never see me ccomplain that much about my '23 because at the end of the day I know I could be better at setup and make it work better. Great bike. Also I could just be a better rider. My bike doesn’t hold me back

I don't know how you don't notice the harshness. I have a 14', 18', and 20' in the garage and the 23' chassis is way stiffer, one of my 23's has 40hrs and the other close to 70. Tho I will say the chassis rigidity does make for precise handling, I just would like some more comfort as I race offroad and not uncommon to be on the bike for 3+hrs at some races.

There was an interview with AEO. He said the new chassis is SOFTER than the old chassis. I don’t recall what portion of the frame or how it was referred, but definitely said it was softer.

I accepted along time ago that its definitely not the bike holding me back, but it's still fun to spend money on your bike trying new things. We've just got the wisdom to realise its not gonna make us any faster ha ha.

It is definitely stiffer than previous models for sure but I've just never found it to be too stiff. I just ride moto so this could be some of the reason, I'm riding for 20 mins at a time then resting. If I was to be in the seat for 3hrs then maybe i would start to feel the harshness, but I'm way to soft to ride for 3hrs straight 🤣

Luxonmx knuckle changed the whole feel of my sxf250 2025, rear of the bike works much better (softer in the first part of the stroke) without spring or valving change....

I’ll second that. Put one on my ‘23 350sxf and love it. I have the 6500 kit up front and after adding the knuckle it finally feels balanced.

I'm thinking about putting one on my 350, just wondering if you revalved the shock aswell? I know Luxon say it's not needed but may still help. My shock is stock and i actually really like it everywhere except for how it blows through at the end of the stroke on bigger g-outs.

I just ran the new mounts on the 2023 today, and it makes the front end feel less harsh on big hits like the 2 strokes.

I did not revalve mine. I might do it in the future when I have the shock serviced, but as of right now I just backed the high speed and low speed compression out a little bit to soften it up and it seem to be spot on.

I’ve heard good things about the REP setup also. Luxon is just such a big supporter and contributor to VitalMX that I support him whenever I can.
I saw in another thread that he has a vitalmx discount code for 10%.   I think it’s either VITAL or VITALMX.

Thanks. Do you feel it helped with bottoming in high load situations? If you had that issue at all.

The linkage & knuckle are to add comfort for more hardpack/ square edged type tracks? I think  Mxa stated if you ride more softer dirt/ sand, the stock setup is fine?

The Luxon one is just the knuckle and it's said it's  ment to ramp up at the end to help with bottoming. Just wondering if it actually does that.

in years past weekend warriors didn’t seem as fixated on eeeeevery tech detail as today.

the bikes have advanced so far yet the need to tweak everything has increased triple fold. I just don’t get the obsession.

My 24 rear suspension is bone stock… but it is fun to see what guys are doing to try and improve their bikes…seeing packages on my porch never gets old…I ride alot of sand and soft dirt, don’t mind the firm initial travel of the stock setup. Almost due for the shock service with just over 20hrs on it now, we”ll see what Factory Connection says…would like to try the powerparts upper engine hangers on hard pack to see if I can feel any difference.

The way I look at it is if I’m spending 10k+ I want it to handle and be as comfy as possible.  The better the bike handles the better you’ll ride.  Now as for my progress report I finally got the sfs top triple with ktm lower split clamps on, wcl motor mounts, wc axle kit and it feels better but then again the track I ride over the weekend wasn’t all that rough so the jury is still out but it def feels better despite only having 3.5hrs on it.
