Your prediction: Tomac at Budds Creek

I done stated my reason in a thread weeks ago but now after seeing Kenny & coops return , def 6th thru 8th , manz coming into budds with less prep than both Kenny & coop 

I hope he is top 5, but 6-8 would be a great return with how little time he has had on the bike. Eli racing is always a great thing. I just hope he can get up to speed sooner than the SX season and run for podiums during the SMX rounds.

Feels like 4-7 to me...  I'll say P5.  And he's just getting some laps in.  Hopefully he and RJ can both stay on the bike these next 2 weeks and be healthy for SMX.

Well I am not going to pick him for my fantasy team this week so that means he will win. 😳

I have him just a tick off Kenny speed wise, so around 4-8th place depending on starts of him and the competition.. I’m sure he will fade late in the Motos being off for so long, but it’s Eli Freakin Tomac so if he won or got 12th, neither would really surprise me..

Right, get his laps in and feeling that race iintensity again. If he pulls a holeshot and is clear of the pack, I can see a podium in a moto. I can't see him having the gas tank to get an overall ppodium. He is EliTomac though. Excited to have him back 

Yeah, Eli is a beast and I would be shocked if he doesn’t have enough gas in the tank to do the motos as well as most other guys. His race pace may be a little off but I’m guessing his fitness is still better than most. 

If i could predict anything...I'd predict the winning lotto numbers.  I figger he'll ride the best he can and then we'll see how he stacks up.  🤒

In the press day interview with Lewis, he said he would be bummed with anything except a podium basically.

Also, watching matt burkeens video, I shed a few tears seeing eli whipping a little bit over some of the jumps. Man it’s great to have him back. Seems to be enjoying himself.

Recency bias...we haven't seen him on track against Chase or Hunter in a while...(has he ever raced Hunter outdoors?)  I reckon the first moto will answer all questions.  I'm kinda hyped to find out.😉

I think he'll go something around 4-4 or 4-5 for P3/4. Theres a massive drop off after Chase and Hunter as we all know at this point.

Anywhere from 3-12, nothing would surprise me. Nice to see him back at outdoors finally.

Podium. He’s never out of shape. He’ll knock the rust off in qualifying. Beast. 

Can't imagine he would come back and not be in shape. Last thing he wants to do is fade as Webb and Kenny did but who knows? Only Eli knows if he is in good enough shape. He implied he has been working hard to stay in shape.

I do think the worst thing that can happen is he gets a good start in moto 1. He will do better if he is coming through the pack IMO. 2nd moto we will see a good indicator of where he is at.

DV is high on Tomac. I'm a Tomac homer and I think podium would be incredible, not expected.

It's not probable, but I wouldn't be 100% surprised if he put an everlasting beat down on Sexton in one of the motos, though. That would be cool.

Eli seems to be in a much better head space the last couple of years...even with the injuries. More relaxed and zen. All he has to do is be Eli.
