Mike Brown to attempt National at 52 years old...

No, not enough HVAC workers in the line. Brownie is OUT.

Mike is probably one of the fittest over 50 men on this planet.

But getting into the fast 40 at world class level race speed when there are 80 plus entries of 18 to 20 year old fresh bodies is a long shot for any human being.

If the races were shorter he would have a better chance, but 1 hour 40 minutes of balls out racing in one day isn’t possible for any person over 50 at this point.

True by 50 yrs old the muscles can’t get the oxygen they got when you where young. You loose a little of that at aprox 40 every yr. I would just race 1 moto and say I hv a electrical problem.  At 57 3/4 you can b in decent shape yet. I don’t work out but I do work 7 days a week 20-40 hrs straight. Pic with hat kinda skinny is off for 9 weeks getting a few injections, back, neck, 2 broken bones in wrist, torn bicep tendon, torn rotar cuff. I still ride after 3 weeks IMG 8034 0.jpeg?VersionId=o5vdW46g B0f3md0MyuzntR2pkMnIMG 9731 of being off.  Po,d in pic the plating co had my cylinder for a month , it screwed up going out of state to a couple big races. Only do 4-5 sprint laps. Pic 2 is after 2 16 hr days inside a 200 degree curtain side flat bed . Then the ts has no food walk up a hill to Hardee’s & there closed. Then walk 1/2 mi to get food, pig out. Then shower & pic.   A few hrs on a another day. 3 chains wrapped around then use a binders to ratchet 5 steel coils back onto the trl. 9 rotten straps broke .   At Mikes age 52 I could lay a fast enough time down. But I,m a sprinter a natural low 10 sec for many yrs. There’s no way I could race wo 30 min plus 2 laps.  Even LL 8 or 10 laps for vets . I think it’s stupid no vet race should be over 4 laps.  Much more exciting to hv a sprint race.  Even at LL I would sprint 4 laps run down some big names & make contact . Then start hitting the kill switch & say my ignition failed.  So it doesn’t mske sense for me to go. Plus it doesn’t pay cash .

 Get a grip.

It’s ok to be pissed and go cool down. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to win a championship at LL and feeling pissed, gutted and hot losing one in the last 2 feet warrants a little understanding.

If there was a 65cc rider out there and the same thing happened, I’d understand as well.

Great respect for you, but disagree.  He should have congratulated Short and thanked his sponsors etc.  Kids across the Ranch look up to these guys and that was a poor showing.  How about a pro doing that at a National and skipping the podium. That would be ok?  Hell no it wouldn't.

He did in his 50 interview. He congratulated Short and praised him several times for riding great and being a great guy.

Show me a champion that excepts losing. When you get passed on the last lap most would be upset as well. I'm sure plenty went into him being prepared that past year. As far as his next race I believe he is heading across the pond to race the vet championship with Johnson and maybe Emig.

Look at Chase Sexton when he's interviewed after tucking the front. And those wins he throws away aren't at an amateur race.

Don’t you see, posting those pics was the only way he could get his point across.

What that point is however, is a complete mystery.

He’s still racing his ass off & got pissed off about losing a race and a title?

Hmmmm…

I have heard less than complimentary things about Brownie at Vet des Nations when the bikes he is provided, free-of-charge to him yet at great expense to the bike owners, do not perform to his expectations.

I'm sure he's a great person, but he sounds very Larry Ward-ish in terms of working with him.

Ive heard similar. Flippin dudes off because he claimed they were in his way at am races. Hes got my respect for being a fit old dude that can rip, but his righteous attitude is getting as old as he is. Lol. Doesn't seem to appreciate shit. Even podium speeches sound like an inconvenience. Dude puts his pants on like every other guy..

I hope he races a nat this year.

Two things here.

1. What did Brownie do exactly for the pitchforks to be out in full force?

2. Why the fuck is profeshenal posting topless pics?

I need some pizza and a nap after this rollercoaster.
