Twenty two motos will favor consistency. Kitchen v. Vialle for the title.

Vialle. I am not sure anyone of the others can hold it together for 22 motos.

He held it together for like 52 out of 54 motos when he became champ 2022.

The 250 class will be worth the price of admission.

Jo could be a contender.

Top 10 from last year.

I'm hoping Vialle but he sure struggled last year. If he's not 100% at his mxgp form I say Levi. This could be one of the best 250 seasons in years. No clear favorite

At the end of the season there will only be Deegan, Vialle or RJ in the top three, not in that order. 🤷‍♂️

Based on last year Deegan looked the second best rider behind Hunter. With an extra year’s experience he is my pick. Though I thought he would dominate Supercross this year and was wrong.

Vialle and Kitchen looked greatly improved in Supercross this year. So if that translates to MX it should be an awesome series.

Does the Star 250 still have a horsepower advantage or have the other brands closed the gap?

From what I have gathered from Matthes and other media they still have a leg up but not what it used to be. Kitchen is also on record saying that the Kawi has good power but doesn’t have the bottom of the Yamaha. BUT, that helped off the gate and they have a great package. With that said, I have heard the Star bikes are fast and hit hard. So possibly harder to modulate. Just a fun guess

Other brands closed the gap, especially when mitch found something late in outdoors.

Didn't people have Jo to win the championship in supercross? Based on when he gets his wins, he won't be winning a title.

Shimoda doesn’t win races until the very end of any season. Why don’t you have deegan in there? I think he will be getting a lot more overalls this year and be battling with kitchen since him and levi will have extra motivation for not getting the sx championships.

I think Vialle is going to get it done.

Considering the massive improvement he made at racing SX this year, i assume he will make some kind of step up at outdoors as well now that he has raced the tracks once and probably has a better overall setup.

And the SX title has to bring a massive confidence boost, which is very important for starts so i expect him to get a lot of holeshots this summer.

I think Vialle will be so much better now that he’s ridden the tracks and knows the Nationals schedule tempo.
I think Jo will be competitive, as he always is, and he’ll be in the points at the end.
Hampshire will be riding with renewed confidence after finally getting it done in SX. But he’s always a risk of throwing it away. I’m hoping we see solid performance now the monkeys off his back.

Deegan has 2 Outdoor wins, I think he gets another one or two but riding on the ragged edge at speed is risky. He’s had a great run, but I think it bites him at some stage.

Kitchen has no Outdoor wins so far, but is building and may get one or two. His time is coming, but it may be another year yet.

However that’s all total bullshit. None of us really know. No matter how someone is trending, it can all change in the blink of an eye.

This is how I'm feeling. I don't like his attitude but if I'm betting money, I would put it on Haiden. I see Vialle and Kitchen in the mix. RJ will win races but he will totally blow up several motos. Jo will win races after he's down 70 points

I guess I'll be the first to say it... "this class is stacked".

I've got Vialle edging out RJ, with Kitchen, Deegan, Shimoda and maybe even Savatgy and Swoll all close enough to be a threat for a podium or win every week.

Moto is a funny game. It is a combination of fitness, skill, team support, and heart/motivation.

I think it is possible that Levi and Hayden will have very very high motivation levels because of what just slipped through their fingers.

I also think Vialle is a two time world mx champ and now a supercross champ, who already has one year of the Nationals under his belt.

JoSho has been consistently improving on his Honda, and has the fire as well as a pretty good track record in the Nationals.

Hamshire has tasted blood and almost certainly wants more.

Could be a hell of a fight.

Shimoda will struggle early on. Not even because of the pressure, but because he will have next to zero practice entering Pala. He was in crutches after SLC with a rumored ankle injury, dude could barely even walk.

What’s the status on Forkner? Pretty sure I heard someone on Pulp say he won’t be ready for Rd1?

5/16/2024 7:51pm

1) the cheff,

2) deegan,

3) Vialle

4) RJ

The 250 class is pretty stacked this summer! There are realistically 6-7 guys with the speed to win a moto. Probably 3-4 have shown enough consistency to earn the #1 plate

If I were going to place a bet it would be Deegan or Vialle
