Has there ever been a rider as good in the early laps as Roczen?

I came right out of my seat when Roczen went thru the sand.  It was amazing

They sure let us know every time he's near the front that he's deadly in the opening laps.

No! I've said it before. Best sprinter in the sports history.

Oh my god, RC was stammering about fast twitch muscle fibers Saturday night when Kenny was sprinting

When he railed that sand section first lap I was in disbelief. It was so fast it didn’t even look real! I can only imagine how it looked in person!

Him still having that insane sprint speed after all these years and injuries is another impressive thing. He will always be one of THE biggest "what if's" in the history of the sport for me. If he never got injured, damn.

That and how Cooper Webb will start keeping low in the turns as the track deteriorates.

Me too Clark.

Hogie from Pulp chat said it looked like Kenny was on fast forward in the video compared to everyone else. Best description I've heard.

Kenny is a legend.

During his GP career in europe,he was miles ahead with Herlings on sand tracks. No surprise that he knows riding sand blistering fast.

It was very impressive, I'll say that.

I know he was maybe in a little bit of a dip time wise when he went down, but if he'd caught his breath and gotten back after it that would habe been a good night for him.

From what i can remember ,In his early years at the GPs he was so fast in the beginning and made such a large gap that he was racing himself and didn't get hardly any tv coverage because of it.

Yeah Herlings went 1-1 to Roczen's 2-2 in both the Netherlands and Belgium in 2011 .

In 2010,Roczen finished second in Valkenswaard, won in Lommel…….The results from Kenny during the mxdn in 2012 in Lommel were impressive too.

He took a smooth line, and everyone else went inside on the slow line with rollers. I don't see the "warp speed" here. Just perspective because everyone else was taking the slow line..

That scrub and turn for the pass was just as impressive to me. Man they were hauling the mail.
