Forkner - “bad news for them”

I completely respect the guy and think he’s an amazing talent. However, take a few notes out of Eli and RV’s book. Go kick everyone’s ass and say nothing. Always been my favorite approach. Responding to idiots on social media is a complete waste of time and stress.

Point of my post was I don't know why Austin is dribbling here it's going to achieve nothing for him, and him throwing a small shade at deegan won't help deegan feeds off that shit.

He should know he shouldn't need to defend himself on social media.

Don't need to defend yourself, we all know how good you are, and your potential. But, the only thing that matters is results. Proof is in the pudding.

I don't have a problem with anything he said, but I hate to read about another rider with hand/arm nerve issues. Hopefully he can heal up and get them back to 100%. I'm still bummed about AC and Enzo seemingly not being able to shake similar issues.

Well next season should be easy for him then. 

Now he has come out and talked the talk. He has to back it up and I think everyone would be massively excited for him if he did. 

God if he can come out and win another main before the season is over after that horrific crash it would be pretty insane. I thought he would retire after that. That crash was so nasty ontop of his history of bad crashes that just walking away from it was pretty tough. Austin however plans to race after in the same season though... Not sure how anyone could do anything other than respect him for that. 

God I hope he comes back and wins the rest and lines up for the outdoors fully fit and high on confidence. I want to see him win a title. Guy has put his body through so much that he deserves it. 

AF has had a very tough time the past 2.5 yrs with injuries / crashes.  Sounds like he has some fire in his belly, I hope he heals up strong and comes back to win a 250 title.

do you think its the Deegan Hype that bothers him or the fact Haiden said “pressure gets to ya” as Austin gets carted off from one of the most gnarly crashes the sport has seen? 🤦‍♂️

I have never heard McGrath, Stewart, RC, RV, Dungey, Kroc, or Tomac ever make a social media post talking this much nonsense.

yeah, probably cause more than half of those guys you mentioned even had or cared to use social media 😭

He's right.  He beats them all too the hospital every year.

He wasn’t sure if he was going to race again.  Looks like he is now. He’s just pumping himself up. I don’t hv a problem with it. Sx is like wwe anyway.  He should do it in a Randy Savage voice tho. You know I,m the fastest 250 sx rider , ooh Yeah.

After winning his first title he was vocal.

Here is a fact:

Forkner can't sustain the pace he is winning at.

There is plenty of guys that, if they could or took the extra risk by choice, would be as fast as Forkner.

If Forkner tones it down to make it through a series, he is just one of many.

From where I am he doesn’t like the Deegan,s and likes the deeganites even less. I would imagine having your riding  and ability to handle pressure trash talked while you’re still unconscious wouldn’t improve things a whole lot.

I'm not going to get into he said she said with Deegan, or you could look at it this way, Deegan might be threatening Forkners ego because Forkner may start to question that he might be not the man when he's racing Deegan, Forkner has been the man this whole time until potentially now.

Deegan and Forkner are very similar people, especially their ego's, that often doesn't mix.

And no I'm not saying Deegan is better than Forkner... not yet anyway.

The difference in responses to Austin saying all of that is pretty funny

At the level he is racing many other racers have some sort of injury they are racing with. That said nobody can question Austin's speed, talent, and commitment.

You would think that a long string of injuries would be humbling rather than whatever it is he hoped to accomplish saying that.  
 

Becoming a “champion” athlete as a child probably makes it tough to empathize and put yourself in anyone’s shoes but your own, and they’ve been inflated with hot air his entire life.  Again, surprised all the injuries didn’t serve as a reality check.  Yikes.

This.  If these comments from forkner, who hasn’t had a title in years, can fly, then how can folks drag Jett who has mad history in the premier class?  The bias is comical

What if this was Deegan saying this? or if Deegan T boned someone like Barcia did.

if i were in Austins shoes, one of the driving forces of my comeback would be to punt Deegs into the cheap seats.
