The north east has snow in the forecast this week and cold.   It’s like winter here yet 2 days this past week we had snow, 6in and 2 in. And more this week.

I'm an hour and a half from the race. We've gotten so much rain this year, it's insane. I've been dealing with flooded basements constantly.

It's been unbearable. Someone just got told we're supposed to get 7" of snow on Thursday in CT

I lived in Boston for 6 years a while back. I can’t even imagine living there with the weather everyone’s getting this year. Wild.

1983 Foxboro Sx was a total mudbog, tons of rain. I raced the 80cc intermission race and got my picture on the front page of the Boston Globe, the city newspaper. We could barely navigate the track the ruts were so deep.

I used to live about 15 minutes from the Stadium( about 45 now). And happened to go for a ride back to my hometown yesterday.   Just like where I live now, its all very wet. And we have some snow in the forecast. The stadium is a little more inland and north than I am now so they would get more of it. Last I heard it was only supposed to be a dusting. How insane would that be if there was a  snowstorm during the race?

Hopefully they have the dirt covered up though. I happen to have a customer who will be coming in this week, that works for Dirtworks when they are in the area. I'll ask him about the dirt.   Back years ago when they came back to Foxborough they had a deal to lease the dirt and that the company would also store the dirt between races. I don't know if that has changed or not.  I hope that somehow things dry up between now and then.

This is a really dumb poll. It's a choice about something that you have no control over. This is dumb. 🙄

Who did they lease the dirt from last time, a garbage dump? I did a track walk last time it came to Gillette and the dirt was the worst I’ve ever seen on a track. I saw chicken wire poking out of the dirt!

Still a week and a half away. The weather forecasters ( are they meteorologists any more?) are as accurate as .?.?.?

That would b Awesome.  I only raced once in a snow storm a deep sand track. The snow added the perfect moisture, it was a blast.  Accu weather predicted 6-12 in we only got 6 in I think. The storm is pushing east now.

I went to that race.  Still have the program.  Also the next year and raced the 125 C race the day after.  Well not so much raced as bounced around the track.

Heavy rain in RI right now and tomorrow, and last night.

Bro, it's biblical in Jersey today. Rain and wind is insane!

Hopefully this is the last of it for the northeast. I'm over it, and hope you Massholes get some good weather for the SX race.

Miserable in CT. Windy, dumping rain, and cold on top of it. We were hitting 60 degree temps three weeks ago. They started prepping tracks and its just shit now. FML

March/April is volatile in our region when it comes to the weather. So ready for it to break into real spring weather.

"Meteorologist" can't even predict the weather as it's happening, let alone a week away. But, the trend has been nonstop snow/rain.

Anything less than having to build an ark, isn’t biblical.
