I would think that this would be a clever move, tucking in behind, plenty panic revs etc then a nice hard pass with JL on the deck.  But first he will need to make sure he gets a good start.

Motolovedude invades/floods/spams almost every MF'n thread with his banal comments.

At least the other guy sticks to certain subjects.

Brother, if that's true then I can understand your sensitivity...but let's be honest here...you swing some pretty wide elbows around here at times.  I doubt gerg knew what yer dealing with and I doubt you think about some of the stuff you say sometimes.

I'm only aware of this because I'm guilty too...but I'm tryin' to be better.Silly

The track has several 180 turns and unless there is an obstacle that is only "Jettable" then I think Webb has a good chance. Webb can ride those 180s like no other.

I don't think either one of those guys will "intentionally" go for a takedown/out.  Mistake, brainfart, rut, lapper might bring 'em together but that ain't their thing.

Now...if we're talking about championship last lap stuff...I'd expect a war...that IS their thing.WoohooSilly

Yeah, his loathing of Jett is unhinged and pathological.

Bro this whole thing IS the Championship. And the points gap needs to decrease a lot, can't do that with Jett still on the podium.. Needs 2 take-outs to make this interesting

That presupposes that he can 'tuck in behind'.  He can't because Jett is much faster than him. Panic revs are for lappers, they won't phase Jett.  Finally, if you have to put someone on the ground to win it means you're dirty not fast.

This. Webb can't catch Jett unless Jett is held up or makes a mistake

Of course the championship is always on the line but Jett could break his leg practicing and Webb could cruise to the c-ship...without having to ride dirty or overly aggressive.  There definitely is a time for that but not at this point in the season.

(I'm not talking about good old block passing, brake checking, or taking lines away...you know what I mean...lol)

He could. He won't though. Jett will be hyper focused and motivated after his mistakes in Seattle. I'm looking for Chase to bring it too and get in between Jett and Webb

Was Jett not hyper focused and motivated last week? If not, why not?

Hopefully Chase and Coop both smell blood in the water after last week. They just proved he’s beatable, come with all the excuses you want, bottom line is last week Jett was the 3rd best guy (look at the results if you don’t believe me). Now we just need Eli to get a start, Ken and AP to be on form, and 16 points will go down to 0 realllllll quick.

Don't question the narrative man.

SuperJett73 is the greatest eva!     Not having all 11 wins in SX this year isn't his fault.

He was until he wasn't - Cooper saw him coming -

can't lay the wood if Da Jett gets every freaking hole shot....

I swear Jett took "the Ole first corner sneaker move" straight out of the Webb play book . Brilliant adjustments with a decent start jamming it out to the front

A series of very bad takes. Coming third in the race doesn't make Jett the third best guy.  He's the fastest by a considerable margin - that's a fact. He's only beaten when he makes a mistake - that's a fact.  Eli is done and will retire - unlike you he knows the whole game has changed. AP is doing what AP does - top fives. Kenny and Chase are the only two that might have a hope of getting somewhat near Jett speed wise, but not on a regular basis.

What a revealing stat. I guess it depends how you like your racers.  Webb's fans seem to glory in the fact that Webb inches out these wins. I prefer racers with pure speed. I was listening to Randy Lawrence on Gypsy Bro talking about Stew - one year on a 125 outdoors he bet second place by 1 minute 9 seconds.

The thread is about the points gap between Webb and Jett. How can you discuss if he can bridge that gap without discussing the bloke he is chasing, and the bloke he needs to finish ahead of to do so?

Jett is as crucial to the discussion as Webb is. Everyone was on topic til you had to be a whiny little bitch about a Lawrence being mentioned despite the fact he was crucial to the discussion.
