Barf!!  Can you imagine if someone in front of him had done the EXACT SAME THING that he did in race 3?  You see….he can make a mistake and that’s okay…you just can’t be another rider and even hint at maybe a mistake that he perceives could affect him.  He took out 5 riders….ALL HIM….yet Hymas didn’t push over baby deegans bike…or flip him off….or…..never mind.

I don’t think we’ve ever really seen a genuine Deegan on camera but I will say the way he was acting today was much more palatable. Definitely acted like a normal person and less of a YouTuber.

That being said, the cynical part of my brain can’t help but feel like him thanking “the big man” wasn’t just another marketing ripcord to win over the old heads he pissed off with his recent behavior, much like the one time he became Captain America because he held up a flag once. But again, that’s just me being a dumbass and not willing to take anything at face value from their camp.

Regardless… Whatever it was, genuine or not, he raced and acted like a professional this weekend and it was very much a pleasant change of pace. We can all make jokes at his expense after every thing he’s done this year but I don’t think there’s anything that justifies any sort of backlash or criticism this weekend.

Kid rode like a hero last night. Season has been off to a rocky start but it’s far from over, shootouts could play a big factor.

I read in here this week that the 18 year old has already peaked and won’t get any better. He already proved that wrong in one week, as he tries to get back in the fight with 2 riders with a TON of championship fighting experience. Anyone notice Hammaker this week? I saw him flopping around a few times, and he was one of the many riders we didn’t get to see DNGR blitz his way through in main 3. Hopefully mommy was there to console him after.

When 38 wins again, we’ll see the tongue and hear about all you haters don’t worry!!!Tongue

Incredible riding by Deegan last night. Time will tell, but he is looking phenomenal.

Hold on there, Skeeter, are we going to ignore the fact that an apparently grown man used the words “didn’t throwed nobodies” in sequence? Even proffeshinal125 (or however he spells it) isn’t that bad.

He also proved that when someone cuts across the front of you ,that you can indeed hit the brakes and not plow in to them . So there's that.

Other than the screwup with the toughblock, his riding last night was truly impressive, especially race 2.  His gap on Macadoo didn't change much though, so it would have been a much more interesting race if Macadoo had gotten around Hammaker earlier.  I don't follow any youtubers, so my impression of him as a person is entirely from his antics on and off track, which from my limited view, makes him a narcissistic douche. You keep hearing "but he's 18". Well so were all the other riders coming up, and there are absolutely zero other riders that I can recall who were so consistent in shitty behaviour toward other riders on and off track. Yeah, some have done stupid things once in a while, but not ongoing drama like Deegan.  When I listened to him on the podium last night, it sounded very much scripted, so my own opinion is that he was sat down through the week. Someone mentioned Will going on about a family meeting, but this year I've started hitting mute as soon as I hear her voice.

He rode great last night. Insane sprint speed in main two. He charged like crazy main three after the crash to salvage a podium. I was all for calling out his d-bag behavior last week. We're gonna nitpick if he's actually religious this week? Wtf

Do any of you watch the Deegan's YouTube channel? I've started tuning in now and again, especially after these controversial situations.

Thought it interesting they completely edited out Deegan's termper tantrum from the Birmingham edit. Edited out his little walk over to the PC pit (which was filmed by his douche videographer and posted on social media by his camp).

Deegan's videographer was right there when he crashed with Hammacher in his Birmingham heat race. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Deegan's theatrics were merely for the camera and for the views.

The Deegan's have constructed a life built on views and drama - straight out of the Kardashian playbook. And here we are all just lapping it up.

His demeanor during the post race press conference was way more natural than I’ve ever seen from him. I felt like I was watching a real person vs in the past when I felt like I was watching a used car salesman try to sell some shit or an actor playing a character.

The god comments on the podium though were more than a coincidence after his behavior during the first few rounds. It’s obvious which demographic his dad is trying to pander to and it’s inline with the comments made on the podium during the nationals last year.

Exactly ,nothing he does will ever get by the severe scrutiny of the people who have decided its their life mission to hate him.

I think the poster meant his persona and curated ‘character’. Which is accurate, the deegans are a marketing company trying to appeal to the masses/lowest common denominator (merica!). Probably why I find them so damn annoying.

good ride though for sure, just don’t need all the Andrew Tate theatrics.

No shit really..Laughing

In all seriousness, the persona and character only works if you are really fast on a dirt bike..And that was my point. Can’t have one without the other..and he is good at both and making millions. None of this works unless Deegan is winning sx races and outdoor motos (and a WSX title)..

I just want to see the kid focus on his riding and accept his lumps when they come and last night he did that. If he stays in that mindset the W's will come. Now if somebody does something egregious on the track then deal with it on the track but leave the temper tantrums out of it. It may be an act but it sounds like the family had a pow wow and intervened. I like the sounds of that. That sounds like a well functioning family unit to me.

Last week he took out Hammaker with a stupid move on that start. The he does the same thing again this week and takes out a bunch riders off the start. I didn’t see any of the guys who got cleaned out by Deegan in that first turn riding by giving the lead pack the middle finger. He’s just very childish. There are kids out there his age on that same racetrack who have their emotions far more in check.

I waited in the autograph line for 2hrs yesterday with my 6-year-old daughter and when we got to the front he put the "sorry, be back next week" sign up.

My daughter said "Dangerboy, I waited for 2 hours for an autograph?" and then he kicked her puppy, stole her ice cream bar, and ran off screaming "I'm the Deegs!" while eating her ice cream and throwing up the devil horns.

Fuck that guy for sure!!!

You’re either a racer, or a YouTube whore. You can’t be both and as long as I’m on this planet I will not support a human being trying to be a champion athlete and an attention whore. In my day, you earned attention and adoration by being great and doing something amazing, not by being a media whore.

The Deegans need to decide what they want to be. Hell, Haiden needs to decide what he wants to be instead of being part of this pathetic media machine called “The Deegans.”

Win a championship and you will have my respect. Until then, shut the fuck up and shove your “danger zone” up your fucking media whore asses.

Been a fan of this sport for 40 years. Fuck YouTube media whores.
