Most people don't think they have an accent, until they hear someone else pronounce a word the way its supposed to be pronounced and it sounds "snooty". Happened to me when someone clearly enunciated the "t" sound in little, and I realized I say it like "liddle".
Or when a British/aussie actor turns on their American accent.
