Does someone have the Weege clip he's talking about (about 4-5 min in)?

Feel like there’s been a lot of shit talking about gypsy on here, but I’ve noticed a lot of the top guys going to talk with him. If he is so bad, why do so many of the actual athletes do podcasts with him?

Can't handle Gypsy Tales guy, too long winded. I really don't give a shit about his martial arts either, even though he mentions it three times every fifteen minutes.

I agree with you... I was expecting a D bag... I wanted to hear what Weedge had to say so I listened and I liked it!

I am a GT listener now

Just listen to the entire Weege podcast. It is one of Gypsy Tales best shows if not the best. Two moto dudes just completely geeking out.

People can hate on Gypsy all they want, but he has the top guys on consistently, so as said above clearly the riders and industry folks do not share the same sentiment as many on here. Plus his youtube clips are popular and a great way to listen to the parts you just want to hear.

The infatuation with dude’s haircuts around here is odd.

Any of the complainers should give the more recent podcasts a listen. His conversations with JA/ Weege/ RV have all been pointed and super informative.

Was a good listen....

surprised when he said his base salary from kawi was only 2.2.  seems low... and that honda made him a lowball offer too.

RV started his 450 career immediately after the GFC.  Salaries weren't what they were in the mid-2000's.

I don't mind the guy as an interviewer.  I can see why some wouldn't, but he certainly gets his guests talking about stuff that few others are able to.

If you can look past his style the guy is streets ahead of anyone in terms of the industry figures he has on the show, and the depth of content that he is able to produce.

I was not a fan of Gypsy the first couple of years, but he has really listened to the critics and stepped up his game a lot. Now his podcasts is one of my favorites. He gets the best guests as well. Love it when the downhill mountainbikers come in to talk as well.

Curious to the people that slam Gypsy Tales, have you watched or listened to recent interviews?

I enjoyed the one with RV, didn’t hear him mention martial arts or whatever else people criticise him for.

My only complaint is the occasional F bomb where it doesn’t seem nessecary the “broooo” talk and some of his questions are a little long winded.

I don’t listen for him anyway, I’m interested in what RV has to say, is it perfect? No… but I would rather listen to it than have missed out..

Yep, the people who are refusing to listen are throwing the baby out with the bath water.

I have tried to listen on several occasions. Most recently the El Hombre pod. I can never get through more than about 5-10 minutes. The bottom line for me is that Jace just talks way too much. I understand that at my age, I'm not part of the "bro, that's so sick bro" demographic. So I can get past the juvenile lexicon. No problem. I can even get past Jace's constant and unrelenting need to remind listeners that he is somehow "in the know", and has spent time in the US, and has hung out with pro racers and industry types. I get it. Everyone has their quirks. Ping smacks his lips and crosses items off of his list like a 5 year old using a crayon, Matthes does the classic "I'll make fun of myself so you don't have to because I'm insecure" bit. I get it. I'm not perfect either. But the whole point of having guests on your show is to deliver to your audience the guests' takes. Aside from the Oz fanboys, I don't think very many people care what Jace thinks or claims to know. I certainly don't.

You are correct about me; I haven't listened to him in a quite a while. Perhaps I will try to listen to the RV or Anderson interviews.

He did mention martial arts when talking to RV.

In the past the f-bombs & constant ‘bro’ were an instant turn off for me.  Will try the JA & RV ones to see if it’s any better now.

I had a hard time making it through his pods at first but he has cleaned them up significantly. Not sure anyone can match JS7's take on mcadoo's incident though lol.

That comment makes me laugh. Every one talks about how no one likes him and not many people listen.. Yet his numbers don't lie.. just because a small handful of the Vital MX members don't like the way he talks, doesn't mean every one else thinks the same.

Say and comment all you want.. But he keeps getting all these top athletes from all sports, public figures and high up people in different industries on his show consistently and continues to produce the in depth knowledge we all want to hear. You don't get the interviews, relationships or 3 hours of conversation with these people by being unlikable.

People say he's doing it wrong.. Yet he must be doing something right.

Youtube:

GypsyTales - 154k Subscribers.

PulpMX - 42k  Subscribers..

Numbers don't lie. Especially with views.

It's not about him being bad, it's about him being annoying as fuck. I would label him as a cunt if he were anywhere around me, and I want nothing to do with cunts.
