i'd say give it less than 24hrs and you'll get some actual decent quality photos
And Ferruccio Zanchi on the 2024 CRF250
Those shrouds remind me of modern version of the 1985 cr500 shrouds
I dont think those graphics are helping the appearance of those shrouds at all

Seeing those photos, I think the 2025 bike is looking pretty good, be interesting when more photos come out.
Man I don't usually complain or criticize things too often but the 23 Honda was the best looking bike in the last several years. Maybe it's the graphics that are throwing it off for me but this is a step in the wrong direction imo.
If their goal is to have a style similar to what they had in the past, I think that's cool but maybe offer an option for customers to choose the new gen style or vintage style.
Below are a couple pics I found online. I'm sure they have already been shared but thought I'd post them. I will admit, it doesn't look too bad in the last pic but damn the 23 was sexy!
I like what appears to be a slightly shorter shroud. I think the graphics will be much better once in race trim.
When the shrouds extend past the forks with the wheel pointed straight, it doesn't look right to me...
Also, do manufacturer's consider the graphics that'll go on the bikes? I would think that would be one of the priorities when designing the shape, with the goal of leaving a nice big place for a logo to be stretched out across the shroud without cutting too much away from it with holes in the plastic.
On the 23 bike, they nailed this with where the CRF logo is. It looks great, it's easy to see and it's ideal for a potential sponsor to pay to have their logo in that spot.
I would think it would be a turn off for a company to know that their logo is going to be cut out through the middle or scaled down to fit in a smaller area.
Hate to sound like I'm complaining but damn this bums me out. Maybe it's because it's not Friday yet.
These are some weird ass critiques.
Just out of curiosity, the photo of that 1987 Honda CR500, that's my actual bike, because I took that photo and recognize the stand it's sitting on. What was that from.
Yeah those 40 year old shrouds look terrible on a modern bike... They need to fix that.
Funny, in just a few short weeks, all these keyboard warriors, 'best looking bike ever'. Make up your mind people!
To quote the great Paul Simon: "It's just apartment house sense it's like apartment house rents: one man's ceiling is another man's floor."
Some will reject this new styling theme because it's a total abandonment of the more-is-better style of plastics that came into vogue in the 90s. Others will embrace it because it's a return to the bike designs of the early 80s, a time when less was more. A time when it was all about simplicity.
Others, like me, for example. I love it.
Dang that's crazy that Tim is riding the GNCC bike in the GPs.
I agree. Aesthetically shorter shrouds can look awesome. a few of the mid 80's works HRC bikes had that look.
Pit Row
It came up on Google when I searched 2025 crf450.

The shrouds just look out of proportion to the size of the bike. And you have KTM going full "freebird" with the giant pointy wing. shroud. I had an 85 CR500, 250 and 125 and it doesn't remind me of any of those.
Looks like they've also possibly added Ferrucio Zanchi to the team for MX2...? If so, very cool. When was the last time HRC had an MX2 rider in GPs?
Looks like they have something planned for tomorrow. This is from the HRC site for the MXGP team. its where they post all the press releases etc.
Looks like a stark varg
Its funny , I thought the Alta looked like a modern version of the 85/86 era CR's. And this Honda looks like a Varg and a 85/86 Cr got together and had a baby with a current CRF.
I dislike how the CRF looks vertically . I don't like it on the current factory bikes either. The screen shot from showing the right side of the bike with the CRF horizontally placed has a better flow in my opinion.
I like that they seem to have tried to put a retro spin on the bike with a modern twist. Kinda like what Ford,GM and Dodge have done with some of their cars. Mustang, Camaro and a handful of Dodge cars have had success with the modernized throwback. Yamaha and Kawasaki have their restro graphic options, Imagine how cool Honda could make a retro version of this bike. With the classic wing style graphic from the 80s.
I think that there should be some specs released tomorrow when the lift the embargo and put out the press release. Some decent photos for sure. It looks like they have a spot for a 3rd rider too saved in the areas that list riders.
Looks like a red 89 kx125 shroud. Gross.
As a guy that’s got a few Hondas…? The new bike ain’t looking that good to me and I’m quite sure they’re prepping y’all for the Electric Era.
You guys are crazy. I want one.
I think it looks good too. Once we have some high res of the production machine it will look even better.
I'll take a My Cousin Vinny callout ten times out of ten lol.
