I like Jett but damn, not a call at least to talk things out? Kid, you need to learn and do things the right way.

This is what the sport has become, its all about optics, and how those optics are reflected on social media.  Jett's people know that poor optics mean less money.

Jett better grow up quick in the "grow up" class. I'm afraid he's letting his ego get the best of him, and Dazzy isn't helping things by getting in the way like that. Jett needs to learn that he's personally responsible for shooting his mouth off, when he does it!

I guess elhombre is able to dish out and take it in without a problem(maybe with one or two exceptions). Shame Jett didn’t apologize himself, if it’s really true Jett did not put up the post.  Probs could have been better just going by the kawi truck and  have a quick chat instead of the social media post. But then again I am not on social media. Just a geezer 

I also don’t take this whole 71 to go thing very serious. I hope jett is able to stay somewhat grounded. Although there was a time of every great rider when they were assholes with the exception of thorpe?! Dunno

He has been showing signs his head was getting too big but everyone wanted to believe otherwise. He is still a kid and I by no means think he is a bad person but humility is definitely a weak point. 

Jett made a post on his IG apologizing, but doesn't sound like JA bought it and expected a real conversation, like grown ups do. Jett needs to refocus and keep his head down for a bit. I haven't heard shit from Hunter so far this season. (for different reasons) But maybe take a similar approach for a few rounds. I also wonder how much tension was already there before last weekend now that Tommy is working with the Lawrence's. Probably none, but there could be some feelings there. IDK.

That's because Jett didn't write the post...his agent did....Jett is the way he is because he is being coddled by those around him...

Bought a shirt from him once, order was late so I reached out just to make sure everything was good. Package came with two shirts and a hand written note from him. 

We’re about to see the whole saying fuck around and find out play out right before our eyes. Gonna be fun. May be a good time for more nets to be added. 

So Jett’s crew apologizes for him but Jett himself says nothing and unfollows El Hombre?  It’s a shame.  Hope the kid learned from this.

So I think Jett acted like a 12 year old after the race, however, if you are a star and you show your ass on saturday night, if I was your agent, I wouldn't let you near your social media afterwards with a 12 foot pole... I get the team making a post for him, Jett doesn't need to be on socal this week. A call or text to JA directly might have smoothed things over better though sounds like. 

So can the Jett fanboys stop pretending that the hate he receives is undeserved. The kid is an arrogant punk and I hope Anderson knocks him into the cheap seats

Jett must seriously be pissed at something Jason did on the track to be acting this way. If Jett did feel like he brake checked him (Jett's emotion and actions up until now are showing he may feel that way), just a simple conversation could have straightened it out.

I have done some things I really regret at 20 years old, and I hope Jett can look back at this in a few years and be absolutely ashamed at himself for the way he has handled it so far.

He is literally NOT a kid...he's 20 years old. Soldiers are 18 years old and somehow manage to conduct themselves accordingly. Getting real sick of the age excuse

I get those around him wanting to protect him but the unfollow and block is something 13yr old girls do...

Ohhh this year is going to be interesting..! Jett either better get the holeshot and disappear, or at least make sure he's in front of Anderson off the line. Rear view mirrors could be handy too because JA won't be hesitating if there's even half a gap.

I don’t wanna be all like “I told you so” but I mentioned earlier that there was no way Jett wrote that apology.. 

Seems Anderson would have been cool with a phone call or DM to talk it over (like the barcia incident) but to now go silent and unfollow (which is childish AF)
