Hope they're serious about donuts being half price this weekend....

So, that would make them what, $45 a dozen? Laughing

You mean like noted foreigner Vince Friese?

Quit with your US anti-foreigner bullshit, that's a tired and baseless narrative.

P.S. - I pull for Ferrandis and not so much for Craig but that was not a racing incident. lol

Now all that is needed is Taylor Swift to take an interest in young Jett.

And if it was such a thing where was it with Marv against Dunge or against Eli in outdoors

JA should send someone over to Jett's rig and buy every last donut. Then JA could hand 'em out in the autograph line with a big ol' smile on his face. Jett would have to climb back in the rig for a good sob.

Maybe the JA21 camp could pull a marketing coup and offer free donut holes to the visitors in their pits?

Subtle message? Cool

Check vital before coming to work, same old posts.

Check vital at work - nuclear holocaust . I don't think I've seen a thread explode this quickly.

Wow this place is brutal. I remember when Carmichael moved up to the premier class- he was doubted, booed, and constantly kicked in the shins. How did that turn out? The dude went on a legendary run; humiliating all his comp in the process.

Been thinking the same thing reading everyone's pile on...I recall when RC was lowered down at the US Open, first time on red, with a crown on his head and the crap he took for that.  I remember people booing MC when he was winning everything in sight.

The slight here, as others have said, is simply not owning your mistakes when you shit the bed.  If all of us here can honestly say they didnt do stupid stuff when they were 20, they are flat out lying.  Jett just has to grow up squarely in the public eye.  Cant be easy and hope he can learn a life lesson here from JA, since he's not getting the reprimand from his team.

I hear you but when you say *imagine if that can only lead someone to whatever narrative suits them. The USA USA thing can be quite pronounced when foreigners come meddling but I don’t think it’s malicious

Jett crying, well some of us are more emotional than others when we don't get our own way, or get into it.

Jett also doesn't appear to be equipped with life skills yet, compared to most yougsters his age.

Also remember, most in the pits disliked any Non American rider when they arrived as a front runner, Bayle, Kenny, DV, .........

Anyway, I can't hardly wait for Saturday night.

Jetts been away from real life from about 12 years old, going to high school would have helped his social maturity,

Hahaha I laughed. Even if I found nice from JA to expose Jett, but its more because we love dramaaaa and he is feeding us.

Also while exposing him is getting into his head and try to break his mental.

But yes as an adult there is better and mature way to deal with this matter.

Yes, I know Jett said MC's record was a goal, and it was in response to a question, but why would it really be to tie? What I heard from Jett was "I will be king". Which actually I like the arrogance - he has the skills to back it up.  We've had so many years of packaged vanilla responses from the top racers. Here Jett steps out and makes a controversial statement.

Jason could have been stopped when he challenged Jett's lack of direct apology and leave it at that. But Jason went for the Napalm and ridiculed Jett's SX record statement -  "You will never be the king" - Brutal.

I like the arrogance too.....but will see how that works out for him.  The past two weeks have definitely been some humble pie for him.....and I hope he gets worked this weekend like a ping pong ball but still finishes in the top 5.  If that happens, he will grow from it and it will be great for us as fans to have some battles in place.

In my opinion Jett has some growing up to do, but we have to remember he is still a kid at 18/19 and to hold this against him is indefinitely would be silly.

90% of us did some stupid and embarrassing shit like this when we were young, we then probably handled it terribly after and just ignored the situation like Jett is. Luckily for us we didn’t have a whole sport watching our every move, a multi million dollar race team expecting us to win a race against the baddest men on the planet and the expectation to act like anything than an 18/19 year old kid.

Hopefully he will learn as he gets older and handle things like a man instead of hiding behind everyone else and blocking people on social media.

Granted I've never had a media team for anything as I'm practically useless, but apologizing when you're out of line should be a common courtesy even if you have people to do it for you.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe the family/agent/team said to stay out of it and leave it to them? So he didn't inadvertently stir the pot or make it worse or a bigger deal than it is.

Who knows.

Unless you think apologizing when you're out of line would NOT be a good character trait for him to adopt?

Lots of people living in glass houses in this thread. What perfect angels you all must have been at 19, 20 years old. Congrats to your parents for raising such compassionate, reasoned, thoughtful offspring. Yes Jett is a 20 year old full blown adult and no doubt he fucked up and got called out for it. He is not a kid. But to pretend he is going to be perfect at this age with all of this pressure is just ridiculous. Jason has the luxury of age and being a dad now, but let's not forget his record has been far from perfect and that Bobby Hewitt actually sent him home for a bit to get his shit together, for the benefit of Jason in the long run. I mean I look back when I was that age it was pure good fortune nothing terrible happened as a result of all the stupid shit I did, while being an adult. And I am incredibly thankful I didn't grow up with the pressures of social media because, in the end, it is nothing more than a detrimental mind fuck which is why I'm not on it. I briefly went down the Facebook rabbit hole during the pandemic but quickly realized, at least for me personally, it had no added value. Social media blows shit up to biblical proportions when most things should barely cause a ripple in a puddle. This is a case in point. We are all human, we all do dumb shit when we lose our shit. I post here because this is where I follow the sport and all that goes with it.

This is hilarious. The highly curated image is starting to crack but come on, is anyone really surprised that the "Justin Bieber of Supercross" is crying and has his team fix his mistakes?

It's crazy to me, knowing how many people JA has pissed off during his career, that MC, RC, Deegan, Forkner, Roczen, AC, Grant, Ryder D, Swap, the whole freakin industry is like yeah, JA is right here. Not a single industry insider said no, that doesn't sound like Jett, he would never have his agent apologize for him.... Not one.

The reason Jett, himself, has not apologized is because he is not sorry.  His arrogance and disrespect are a product of a lot of things.  It starts with the youngest kid in the family which always gets a little, or a lot, spoiled.  Top that with more talent and the potential future income/wealth for the family and a high level of talent, that the team wants to keep happy, and you have a situation where all Jett has known is people pretty much kissing his ass his whole life.  22-0! (Which in the end may actually hurt his career then if he had faced some challenges). Then the press anoints him the next goat and covers him 24/7/365 with gushing praise.  It’s really hard in that situation not to think the world revolves around you.  When something doesn’t go exactly your way, or somebody doesn’t treat you as god’s gift to everyone, then his brain can’t process it and it short circuits.  You saw that with the continual crying about Jason to everyone he could tell after the race.  You find out who someone really is when things are not going perfect..and we saw that.  When things are going good he can mask that side of him…but…When he tries to act humble it reeks of false humility.  This is not something that he can just change.  All he, and his people, can do is try to hide it.  To appear like you have changed.  He is who he is…and that is a narcissistic spoiled amazingly talented motocross rider.

Look at the list.

Mc: butthurt since Jett said that his record is one of his goals now.

Forkner: butthurt since forever about the brothers who robbed him of fame.

Roczen: butthurt since smx when he was gifted the win.

Deegan: what did you expect? A full breed little shit that is a copy of his father. Don’t get him wet or feed him after midnight.

Swap: Loves his ”bro’s”

RC: Sticks his nose in every pile of shit he can find and often argue with fans that don’t like his work in the booth on instagram.

You have a couple of names there with BIG hurt egos that just stand behind Jason now peeping over his shoulder but never had the guts to say it them self before.

The most remarkable thing there is that Shimoda liked JA’s post. I doubt that Honda will like that.

I remember back in the day when JA wasn’t really that respectable and was kind of a punk. Nowadays, he’s fully respectable.
When Jett figures this kind of stuff out, he is going to be one bad ass mofo. He will be respected for his insane insane rideing and I’ll bet you anything he’ll earn deserve respect from his competitors by that time.

it’ll probably take a couple years but he’ll get there. I bet

If that makes any sense lol🍻
