Hunter probably has a bit of complexes and puts a lot of pressure on himself to do as well as his brother but it doesn't work.

Anyone know the last time a factory Honday 450 didn't make the main after finishing the Heat and the LCQ?

I'm thinking an undisclosed injury could have had an impact on his LCQ performance.

RV failed to qualify by crashing out of heats and the LCQ, and I think he was in the points lead.  It happens.  I think Dunge was close once, too.  The LCQ is a crapshoot, which is why guys avoid it.  There's enough BS flying back and forth without trying to leverage this nonsense as further fuel for the fire.

If this and "his dad cusses" is all you have to throw back at the Aussie smack, it could be a long year for you.

But the guys wanting the Lawrence’s to fail aren’t going to accept that excuse.

It's very likely he was crazy sore if nothing else and combined with a poor start in the LCQ.  Give him a break and let's see how the rest of the races go.  

He is not Jett and Honda does not expect him to be.  Will be interesting to see what happens if he ends up consistently 10+ on the factory bike though.  Does Honda keep him for the family atmosphere to keep Jett happy in that scenario?  I wonder how long long the contracts are for?

Hunter looked like he tweaked something when he got up from the heat race crash. He wasn’t walking normally, no surprise, that was a solid crash. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was either out next week, or at least far from his normal speed.

Honda must be thrilled about their rider’s hacking each other’s front wheels at the series opener.. 

Dazzy said he hit his head hard and his forehead was swollen so yeah, i bet he was kinda cooked for the night.
I still think that Hunter has a atrocious score for bad moto starts on 250, did not start well on 450´s, hopefully it changes.

The Honda 250 definitely seems underpowered. I would think that's going to be the biggest struggle for Jo. He was getting poor starts already on his PC Kawi. How's that going to translate now to the Honda? 

Anyone else catch DB saying Huntah was "scared to death" of the guys in the LCQ in the recent Pulp show clip 2:23:30ish    Mathes even said he was "freaked out".
