Just watched the takeout of Dean. It was at a point in the race that it is just plain stupid….and it took himself out of the race ….which may have saved other riders from his stupid riding.

I have never said this about a rider….but…I hope he broke his fucking hand and is out…before he seriously injures someone….not to mention he ruins races.

Coming from the outside like that he knows he's risking taking out half of the top 10. I think he feels that if he can take out the top 10 racers he might have a chance at the podium. If it were an isolated event I don't think anyone would make a big deal of it, but the guy is dangerous on the track and that behavior should be addressed.
I have to believe he and the team are being talked to by the AMA. Heck, I'm kinda surprised Vince wasn't on double secret probation already.

Having a great jump halfway down the start chute does not mean you have the same advantage as you get closer to the first turn. All the bikes to the right of Vince gained enough ground on him that his early right turn to ensure a good start was obviously another bad decision and caused the pileup we all witnessed.
As far as Hunter not seeing Vince, I am sure he did mid start, but as he was out powering him, shifted his focus to his right, where the corner was headed. The 125 coming across his front wheel was not in his view until milliseconds before contact. All Vince had to do is hold his original line and come over at the apex to control the first turn.
Not 100% his fault, but definitely 100% bad racecraft.

How many "racing incidents" does one rider need to have until it's considered poor race etiquette and/or judgment? Because I feel like Vince has crossed over into poor race etiquette a long time ago. Dude just caused 3 major incidents in the first round and still has people going "that's just racin!"
I don't know if anyone's tracked some cars before but there's always a ton of cars filing into a turn after the start and of course you could bump the dude in front of you, spin him out and cause a pile up because of the guys he subsequently hits but that's not "just racin" That's being a bad racer and an asshole. With dirt bikes, that same attitude can be applied except the consequences are much more dangerous for obvious reasons.
That's funny. The AMA is the most spineless, useless organization in all of sports. They put up with Barcia for how long? They could care less about Friese...or who he takes out. The riders and rider's safety is of zero concern to the AMA. They have a long, embarrassing history of incompetence.
Hopefully his cell phone dies before we have to listen to him talk about it.

I would LOVE to race all of these candy asses that are going to leave the inside open because there might be a rider there and they don’t want to upset them.

I'd like to see how his supporters would react if every rider on the gate raced with the same attitude and shitty antics Vince Friese does and instead of seeing good solid racing with a little bar banging here and there in order to pass, they all took blatant take outs and the none of the riders would finish the series, because of injuries, wouldn't that be fun. Might as well go to a Demo Derby. There comes a point where you can't just call it a racing incident anymore, when one rider has such a sordid history of dangerous take outs of faster riders. Shit! the guy was offering a cash bounty on Brayton to take out his competitor for the WSX title. That should have been reason to ban him for life right there.

So my wife has started paying attention to the sport more and more over the years but not to the point she knows Friese's MO. I made a comment about Friese after the Hunter incident and needless to say it only took one race this year for her to know exactly what i was talking about.
