Monster Energy Triumph Racing

^^^^ That army green / tan would be a better choice than black. Like someone else said, do the Irish Blend Java Monster colors. That would be sick.

I like my green Triumph

I like the ammo box saddle bags! I carry some oils and grease in one that I bring to the track

There are a million other energy drinks out there, it would be nice if a few more started advertising with mx/sx just to change up the logos on the bikes. I remember rockstar almost left husky, but luckily they worked it out.

One of the energy drink brands is called full throttle, I think that would be a perfect fit to advertise in mx.

Anybody who was in the military and deployed over seas you know allll about these bad boys..

Its so weird how common these were over seas but Ive never once seen them in the civilian world. These would go perfect with the red bud 4th of july graphics kit lol.

I’ve seen Rip It at some Dollar Stores in Maine

Literally no one is shocked that this is truly a Black KTM. Just got the frame and suspension off a '06 YZ250F. lol Which is fine. We know that Triumph and KTM share investors. So half the plans came from older KTM's as a base and the other half was actually built from the ground up. The KYB suspension will be the best part of that bike. A lot of Austrian bike riders will be switching brands just for the suspension swap. WP is terrible and no one wants to admit it.

If you think WP suspension sucks, you apparently have not rode the showa trash that is on the new crf's. even after Factory connection tried to fix it, it still sucks donkey balls.

So two things.

1. On swap moto today they mentioned that only in mxgp is Triumph going to have monster as the energy drink sponsor. In the usa theyre going to have a different energy drink sponsor.

2. Did anybody else notice the mxgp bike has a carbon fiber sub frame? Is that allowed in the us?

Carbon fiber subframes are only allowed in the US if a bike comes stock with one.

At least the bike still has potential to be a really good bike. We'll have to see after a few tests and customer reviews. Even if it is a black KTM, its still a different bike with really good suspension.

And whatever happened to the "it'll look radically different than any other bike on the track, it has its own style"? Because that was a lie.. They could've made a radically different exhaust that was slim & lining the wheel well to where the exhaust is almost non existent.

Also I thought the AMA rules say bikes can't have a carbon fiber subframe. Unless that's part of the production rule, so if its sold that way its legal.

That exhaust idea is quite possibly the stupidest thing you’ve ever posted. That’s saying a lot. Do you think when your typing or just word vomit?

We are 2 months away from A1 and dealers still have no eta or pricing on this bike.

I believe it's still going to be a Monster brand.  Also, they're going to have a really sweet clothing deal.

I like they're trying to tie the colors to their moto3 bike with the neon yellow but it sort of clashes with the silver frame and green Claw(tm). 2/10 effort.

US team has Dudley Crammond, so don't think they would farm out to Twisted Development.

Don't drink 'em but as a fan of World of Outlaws sprint cars (only thing cooler is MX/SX when it comes to all things racing haha), it would be cool to see NOS (owned by Monster) come into this side of thing...

Its not a dumb idea, its just different. For a guy from Utah, I figured you'd be more open-minded.

Utah is one of the least "open minded" states in the entire country.

Twisted will have a facility in FL soon, but I agree Triumph will be in house like all factory teams

Have you heard of cross kart racing before? In my opinion thats BY FAR the most badass and fun to watch car racing that exists on earth. I cant believe it hasnt taken off yet in the states, its friggin awesome! They basically put sport bike engines in off road karts that weigh nothing and go balls to the wall on and off road. This has to take off in the US, I wanna watch an event soo bad.  Its a pretty new sport and right now exists mostly in Europe and especially in the Scandinavian countries. Hopefully more ppl see how friggin badass it is and it blows up.

**Warning** watch this video at your own risk, if an erection lasts longer than 24 hrs call your doctor.

Anyways as far as the Monster thing, Monster is owned by Coca Cola so the US team could be sponsored by any one of the energy drinks under the coke corporation. I believe full throttle is one of the other energy drink brands under Coca Cola so maybe it could be that.

Wow, that looks sketchy as F@@@. Some of those buggies don't have doors, some racing on the side of a mountain with a 2-1/2' guardrail keeping them from certain death. I'd rather race the Ilse of man TT thank you very much.

And I'm an EX-motocrosser and currant race-car instructor!!

The reason its not in North America...Who would insure those races?

Flame suit on.

This with the seat in either green or black. Maybe green with black grip ribs.

Cool they're doing it, but damn I am tired of black bikes with a green claw.

I just wish they would use the different colors of the brand. They have some awesome looking colors that would stand out on different models/teams.

I don’t get it 🤷🏼

I agree that the bikes would’ve looked so much better in British racing green, especially with a brown leather looking seat. Would’ve been incredible.

Make the claw a java brown and this design would stand out on the track. You would know its a triumph.

That does look pretty good. I guess that another work around for the color issue is to use a really unique shade of an existing color to make it unique. All thats really left for unused colors is grey, pink, and purple so not really the best choices, though grey does look pretty good imo. Beta did find a cool work around by using two colors for their bike, so that opens up a lot of possibilities. If Ducati is planning on using red, which they pretty much have to, then I guess they could get away with it by using a unique shade of red.

Comparing the new panigale v4r to the crf450r the colors are pretty close, but the ducati seems a bit deeper. I guess they could go with red and white, or even red white and green. Itll be interesting to see.

"Triumph" may be the best motorcycle brand name ever. Glad to see it get a true revival.

No, don’t come after the NOS money. Needs to stay in sprints. Would suck for Shane Golobic, Sunshine or Lil Haud to lose funding. It’s cool they have jumped in head first.

sucks the all stars are on hiatus but with High Limit going national big things coming.
