I don’t know about an e-bike but the CF-Moto ATV’s are supposed to be legit. Houston areas deer hunters buy CF-Moto like they got good sense. The big KTM/Kawasaki dealer down the Gulf Freeway/45 South sells CF. I’ve had two different CF dealers tell me they sell more CF ATV’s than Jap for what it’s worth and not much difference in price either.
I doubt it will be Varg ish, but it might be good for Chi-com.
I hear that Robbie Gordon’s company Speed is looking to build a E moto bike. That came from one of their corporate people. But he was drinking so?🤷🏼♂️
How long did it take for them to start shipping the utvs? Seems like everyone was waiting forever.

It's time to start embracing E-Moto in Pro MX/SX...Fossil fuels will be fazed out more and more over the next couple years.
While we're at it, we might well embrace this new electric future with 410 sprint cars, dirt late models, monster trucks, and nitro drag cars. Throw all those nasty engines in the garbage and replace them with batteries.
I have nothing against the Varg or e-bikes. But dumb proclamations like this are what make people so anti-anything-electric.
Drag racing would not make much sense, but an electric sprint car or late model would be badass. The chassis and setup is more critical than ever and let them eat.
For moto, all they have to do is change the 450 class to open. Run what ya brung and may the best rider/bike/team win. How would that be bad?

Fossil fuels won't be gone in a couple of years maybe in another 30 years that might be true. Those stupid ev mandates governments put in place for 2030. I would not be surprised if it suddenly becomes 2040.
Lots of other things need to happen for that like some serious infrastructure upgrades.

I didn't say fossil fuels will be gone...they are going to be phased out. Go to the UN website and see how they are speeding up Agenda 2030. They don't care about infrastructure because not everyone can afford electric, and they know it.

Some people are still drunk on Covid. Probably because the government(s) segwayed directly from the 'pandemic', straight to everything electric as their next source of panic, the power focus/shift was a blur to some, but clearly some can't get enough.

They still are. Units are trickling in. I said this in one of the Stark threads, but Speed is/was facing similar issues to Stark with regards to manufacturing and supply chain. People have invested significantly more money by way of deposits on their Speed and are not exactly getting what they promised. The only upside is that Robbie and team post fairly regular video updates outlining the reasoning for the delays (eg. an engineering change). If you check out the Speed thread on race-dezert, it's a fairly interesting read.
As far as CF Moto goes, will this be the first "serious" MX bike to come out of China? I would still rather have a Polaris or CanAm 1000 vs. the CF Moto, but the CF Motos certainly have a following (mostly due to perceived value). I've found that the components on the CF Moto (and other Chinese) ATVs are inferior to their competitors, even if those competitors are sourcing components from China.
If CF Moto is trying to make a name for themselves by building a serious bike, hopefully they spec quality suspension and braking components at a minimum.
They're a garbage product. Absolutely awful. One of their side by sides nearly killed me because the throttle stuck and the brake calipers snapped off. Oh, and good luck claiming anything under warranty, I worked for a dealer that sold them, they do anything they can to make the customer pay for repairs.
They outsell the Japanese because the Japanese are falling way behind. Polaris and Can-Am in terms of ride quality and product range are way ahead and the sales numbers reflect that. They don't make 2ups and they haven't updated their ATVs in any significant way over the last decade. Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki are just churning out the same stale product.

I believe you'll see just the opposite. Once they realize that it'll never work getting rid of fossil fuels things will turn around. It just takes time for stupid people to see how stupid they are. I don't have an issue with ev's and there is a place for them in the market.
I totally agree. Do they have a market? Sure. Is it a market that will take over what's currently available? Not even close. It just takes time for the EV bleeding people to wake up.
let's plug 40 million cars and motorcycles in to charge every night and see what happens. oh, and how many commercial big rigs?

The dam is about to burst. It seems like every pro who rides an electric bike comes away impressed. Are there drawbacks? Sure. But as these things get better and better, there will be little more than preference to sway one's decision for/against electric.
I'm a conservative that reads a lot. If you people think that they have come this far to let some of the laughable ideas I have read here get in their way.....You just need to pay attention to what's going on in the EU. They are not playing.
Once they have their Digital Currency in place, you will do as your told.
I don't disagree with the currency and all that but if you think the conservative side of politics is any salvation you are sorely mistaken... look at the rise of conservative power globally, the history of conservative tech big brotherism... the anti-freespeech crackdown from conservatives... the Russian protectionism on Ukraine directly from conservatives...
All of the things you fear are directly driven by conservatives and E-Moto has zero to do with it... But being a conservative really just means living in a subjective bubble where logical reasoned argument is 'socialism', logical laws are 'fascism', science is 'the deep state' -- and you eat up propaganda like the're tic-tacs.

I know it's a uniparty, I know it's all a scripted-made for TV movie. They couldn't give a shit about MX/SX or any kind of racing that involves fossil fuels....Again pay attention to the EU, because it's coming
