He rode just fine at the SMX finale which was SX minus whoops. I’ve seen him put in SX motos. I said it earlier this winter on here, he has closed that gap a lot. His whoop speed is just fine. It wasn’t blazing but it was strong and consistent. 

I am sure he will make mistakes, but Ty already spent his summer and fall racing with these guys and beat a big chunk of them throughout the entire time. That alone will help. 


He is also an amazing starter and the power gap is way less prevalent now with the 450. He will get starts which is like half the battle. 

1 top 10 all season isn’t a very high bar for someone with his speed.

The title contenders will be 4 riders Sexton, Tomac, Webb and Jett. Any one else would be considered a dark horse. Order subject to change. If we are lucky two riders will be within 10 points with 2 rounds to go and there will be 4 riders with a win.
