Topic close to my heart. Why are you going to pass a no trespassing sign that goes up on a trail you've ridden on for years? Just curious, wanted to move the question off the unfortunate topic of the deceased rider thread.
Because your long haired ass is on my property. I have longer hair than you, guarentee it, and I have 3x dirtbikes, 2x ATV's and 1 utv. Go for it it jr.
Removed your post?
This thread has a real bipolar vibe to it...

No man’s life is worth taking for property of any kind. Penalized ? sure but death is forever. Anyone who thinks killing a man over trespassing needs an empathy check. Stealing, or protecting your things or family make sense but just for entering your property line to ride a dirtbike ?? No way
Take this to the dumbgeon or non- moto or somewhere else equally appropriate.
That's not what this thread is about.
It's about why do some people think it's OK to trespass?
Some of you guy have a bad case of entitlement. Are you entitled to ride anywhere ya want and when confronted think it’s ok to inflect bodily harm on another person. Some of you are starting to sound like the looters that hit a CVS drug store and clean the shelves. Law enforcement try’s to stop it and someone decides to get in a wrestling match with law enforcement and shots fired. All of a sudden it’s bad cop shot someone with out knowing all the facts. Are you entitled to resist arrest. Are you entitled to fight and inflict bodily harm when confronted after breaking a law. Are you entitled to defend yourself….most states have laws in place that say ya can. They also have laws in place on excessive force.
If you own enough land, the most likely trespassers will be dirtbike/atv/utv riders and hunters. Tell them to beat it and all of a sudden you're the asshole.
You guys feel the same way about the people who sneak over the border?
Yes. Dont race to the bottom, be better.
Fort Meade Maryland and there were No signs and I was charged with federal trespass charge for riding on area where they had mock wars.
1 of the 2 MP’s was even a rider from Californian that didn’t want to charge me.
There's no reason any human being should be trapped in a third world country ran by the cartel, living in fear daily. I say come on over, do whatever it takes to give your family a safe life with a sense of security.
It's not their fault they were born into a third world shithole. Also a lot of us were simply born in a first world country, it was nothing but luck. We need to stop acting like we're better than others based on where we happen to be born.
Real men have empathy for the less fortunate and are helpful and understanding.
Some times rich scum put up illegal no trespassing signs or even gates. Seen it happen here in Idaho.
You do know there are avenues to come to this country legally to escape this kind of stuff right?
Is it OK to debate gun laws in this thread?
It's called an implied, or prescriptive easement : https://www.findlaw.com/realestate/land-use-laws/express-and-implied-ea…
Basically, if the property owner has not taken any steps to prohibit trespassing while public use / access is established on their lands, then it creates a legal precedent for access.
Personal private property is completely different from local government property where he was riding with his kid at a well known spot this git taken way to far by security
Pit Row
You ever tried building a deck without posting shitty thoughts on Vital MX?
It's boring as shit.
so you didn't have permission to be on land that wasn't yours? got ya...
You shouldn’t talk about Chicago like that…
We can get into another snake debate it you're that bored
I've got snake facts locked and loaded.
We have had a similar discussion in our family recently. My son-in-law has been catching a few people here and there on our woods trails on his game cameras. We have a rails to trails running thru the middle of our property. My son-in-law and daughter want to put up no trespassing signs signs but I'm really hesitant. As teenager's both myself and my wife rode our motorcycles on any property that looked interesting, never asking permission. Granted that was fifty years ago but in my opinion as long as they aren't doing damage and bothering wildlife does it really matter?
Yes, but it needs to be done legally!!!! Can't just open the flood gates! This coming from a person who's parents immigrated here.
😂😂let’s toss in religion and politics
The signs could have some value in the event someone gets injured on your property and sues.
I see entitlement all the time at the mx track. The last race I went to washougal dream race a month ago. Example #1 these fools decided at 10:30 pm Thursday night. Didn't get there before the gates closed. So we're camped out before the gate.
These idiots guys were in their 50's thought it was okay. To break out thier blue tooth speakers and blast crappy 80's metal and hair bands at full blast. Proceed to get drunk and start hollering and shit. And kept at it until midnight even after myself and a few others yelled at them to stfu.
All weekend long and it's not a new thing they have strict no pit bikes in the main track infield. What do I hear on the pa all weekend the announcer yelling at people to get off the infield on their pit bikes.
And all weekend long idiots roaming around the pits. On pit bikes all fucking night long! I almost saw some fuck sticks almost take out some people walking along. In the dark no lights and was at least in second gear. Came within about 4 feet of plowing into them. Wtf you doing at 2am riding around when practice starts in 5 hrs.
Other sports I've done even with camping the night before. If you would have been doing this shit passed 10pm. Dudes would have been kicking your ass for disrupting their sleep.
Our main house sits on 10 acres of heavily wooded land.
No trails anywhere, other than animal trails.
Most of it on the side of a ridge. So it's moderately steep.
We've placed no trespassing signs around the perimeter in conjunction with the survey markers.
We have neighbors who wander up in there searching for morrels when they're in season.
That's cool.
What's not cool is when I came home from work one day to see a ratty old chevy truck parked half in my driveway.
Went up and searched around, found the idiot with a muzzle loader thinking he was staking out an area to hunt.
Very bluntly told him to get the fuck off of my land.
"But there's deer up in here"
He actually thought that gave him the right to trespass.
Talked to the landowner behind me.
Said the same guy was run off of his land as well.
And thought he was entitled to go wherever he wanted to to hunt.
Nevermind that our home would possibly be in the line of fire.
The guy left with me right on his ass all the way back to his truck.
Around here, it's not a good idea to be found wandering around on private property.
Post a reply to: Trespassing, why are you entitled again?
