I’m one if the older dudes in here & I just don’t get it…? HowTF do some of these guys have so much angst and negativity towards a teenage kid that’s just racing his dirt bike?
Some say he’s cocky as they completely forget a certain young Ricky Carmichael…who, at times may have been cocky…but, he too was just a kid at the time. And even then…I couldn’t believe how many people were all twisted up about it.

The kids…from the little ones on Stacycs on up thru the teenagers that’re stepping up to big bikes…they all seem to LOVE 2 riders…Danger Boy & Jett. Those 2 are gonna be “market magnets” for a ton of money if they continue to perform as well as they have been. Little Deegs is still DAMN YOUNG and as others have said…
He started this year off racing “Futures” and was likely even headed to LL’s again…yet, here we are…the kid has earned hundreds of thousands of dollars this season…and he’s only 17.

Ok, You're right, Deserve on its own doesn't cause things to happen in life, but you deserve what your actions reasonably should accomplish. Plus, when you deserve something, there are people in this world that from time to time will make sure someone gets what they deserve, so Deserve does play a part in life.
Deegan earned this title, and his place in both MX and SX. The family both earned and deserve the success they're enjoying in life.
I agree though that Karma is BS. If you're doing good things in life, odds are better that what you've been doing will cause what you intend and vice versa Life isn't fair. Good things happen to those doing bad things, and bad things happen to those doing good things. All we can and should do is our best.
Been watching the Deegans channel for 5 years, and thanks to the channel my partner who never gave a shit about Moto now watches the races with me because of their YouTube channel.
It's quite remarkable to see Deegans riding style completely change since his futures race, one thing I've learnt watching the Deegans channel about Haiden is that he wants it bad as anyone I've seen in the past, I'm surprised but not surprised at the same time with his results this year, the kid has heart and determination, I did expected a lot more crashes so I'm pretty damn impressed he made it though the whole season.

Losing a 8 round series and an 11 round series then winning a 3 round series a with gimmicky points system and a compound word for a name doesn’t make him the overall champ.
He won 4 out of 17 supercross races in 2018.

Go back to the beginning of the year around the time of his futures race.....there was a lot of very vocal people on here that would fall into the hater category.....HD has pretty much silenced them or at the least has changed their posting style....some have even changed their username multiple times....

I personally find all 3 Deegans voices and laughs annoying.
The truth is there are a fair few screwed up people here, more than ever, with chips on shoulders about god knows what and that nutty idea that you’re seen as more clever if you snark.
Much credit to ML and crew for the off-forum content, but the place seems like it’s at a tipping point of becoming a forum wasteland.
