Side note, did anyone else find it weird how the Deegans behaved when watching the race? I get the nerves that come with watching your kid compete, but how does that manifest into looking like you’re tweaking on hard drugs? Not at all suggesting that was the case, just found it comical how much Brian in particular looked every junky I’ve seen - weird face contortions and bobbing around so much I thought he might fall over. Bizarre.

Exactly! He did some weird spasms and face contortions, also tweaky strange movements...

I cant imagine the amount of stress they are under with all of it. If the camera was on any of the parents you would see stress(like when they show the parents of a tennis champion in a crucial match). Maybe you wouldnt show it, who knows.    Over all the Deegans have been good for the sport and try to uphold family and traditional values that is rare these days.    I think Brian has a beautiful family and works very hard. They are all right with me.
