Wasn’t Kenny more or less on the same bike when he went damn near perfect during the outdoor series in 2016? Isn’t that the year after the bike was last updated? People are surprised he’s good on the same bike?

Dinosaur or not, that thing hauls! Kenny knows how he wants it set up. His suspension was buttery all night and he said he wasn’t really feeling it Moto 1… Would be nuts to see Chase stick it to Jett next week to claim the 2nd spot in the playoffs with Ken on top!

It was updated for 2018. He hadn't ridden this current gen bike until HEP, and it took him the first couple months of SX to figure it out.

Also hope he wins next week, be more exciting than another Honda win at this point.

It's a non-factory racing team too....

Exactly my thoughts- i thought he really is washed up when he left honda- but since he was on the suzuki he was the old kenny from years ago. He can put his bike wherever he wants it, seeing him racing against jett who definitely is the next big thing- shows how good he must feel at HEP Suzuki. That Suzuki deal was the best thing he has done so far- he looks really happy since

we also have to consider how modified that RM is. there may be significant difference between the CRF and RMZ when rolled off the showroom floor but I’d bet if any of the other pros threw a leg over Roczen’s Suzuki they wouldn’t notice any real disadvantage. it’s considerably lighter than stock and has been brought up to speed with the most modern tech inside the engine and suspension.

The Zook out-handles many of the “Latest & Greatest All New” super-hi-tech cool guy bikes, too. I find that to be too damn funny.

If Suzuki really had their marketing figured out, they’d make damn sure that the Honda CRF450RS was never priced less than the RMZ. Why? Because, that would make sense AND they’d sell more!

Consider how modified the RMZ is....but all of the A-list guys bikes from all the manufacturers are heavily modified.

Well yeah.....but every bike at the top level is a factory bike, his is not and arguably the starting point is much lower.  It is very impressive for the rider and the Team.  Awesome to watch.

He’s a world champion that lives & races in America now. She said oh really. They took some parts off the engine so no one would ride off with it.

Spot on.

LIke you said, the bike is more than capable for the masses.       Nobody leaves their bike stock either.

Buying the latest greatest doesn't make you Sexton, Tomac etc.    Self-delusion does marketing's job for them. Wink

If I were in the market for a 4-stroke mx bike, it'd buy one.   I don't need e-start.  I got by for many years kicking bikes over.

Oh I get it.   Knee problems are a whole other issue.   If I had knee issues, I'd want e-Start too.

Good for you. I'm 54 and have short legs and can afford to buy one w/o a kickstarter.

From his first race on the HEP bike, until this last race at Chicago, every time I see the bike on the track - I find myself screaming out loud to the TV "That son-of-a-gun turns".

20230729 100413Hey I love mine, it's way more bike than I could ever use and I actually like the fact that most times at the track I'm usually the only one there on Suzuki, I'm 54 and I pass plenty of younger guys on their Honda's and Yamaha's.
