It looks like they are building 1 bike every 2 months instead of 20 a day or you are being lied to.
"if a motor vehicle can't be delivered within 90 days of signing a sales agreement the contract is void and you get your money back. It's the law."
That wouldn't apply across international borders, you would need to take action in a Spanish court.
If you purchased through a local dealer, you could take the dealer to court in the same state.
The last reported VIN was 800, 3 months after customer #1 received his bike, so 66 per week, or 13 per day.
If anybody receives their Varg or looks at a demo bike at a dealer, can you post the VIN number?
I just called my local dealer. I was going to take a ride and check the vin. They don't have a bike yet but claim it will be here next week, lol.

I initiated a chargeback today. American express gave me the phone number that is listed on their account...its a fake number😬
VIN numbers don't have to be sequential, only have to be unique to one bike.
800 doesn't necessarily mean there are 800 Vargs built already
That is scary. Does anyone here have a phone number to contact them or is Stark hiding behind email only?
You might even find your delivery date more up fast when AMEX starts fingering them if your lucky.
Just got an email saying my bike is in production today, and a friend of mine just received his bike this week, but by all means keep the conspiracy theories going. . .
Dude, everyone got that email. Including me. Said there is a vin but they wont give me a number. The account doesnt reflect that and my new delivery date is still nov 15th. I was asked to pay in early July.
The stark group chats on FB confirmed this. People are getting vins in the 4-500 range which doesnt make sense for earlier people getting vins in the 700s.
One guy got a shipping confirmation, he is in the EU vin of 468. His delivery date was supposed to be June 30th.
Another guy got the email of it being in production with a vin of 552
Thats a 84 unit difference from an estimated june delivery to the "start" of production of a unit on 9/14...not promising.
Im not spitting conspiracy theories, just facts.
Maybe if you happened to be "smart, articulate, and a halfway decent rider" you would have got your bike sooner.....
I got the same email this morning claiming my bike is finally going into production. I asked for a full refund 2 days ago and have yet to receive a response.
Fwiw, I just got off the phone with the local dealer that has the 4 demos. He said they talked to their rep yesterday and were told the first shipment of their customer bikes is now pushed back to Feb. He said he didn't believe that date either tho.
I do feel lucky to have mine already, the order system seemed to work well. I do know that they are having some parts supply issues at the moment, there was a plan to expand the production lines towards the end of the year and into Q1 but not sure on the latest ref that at the moment. I think they are struggling with growing it so quickly, they knew it was going to be popular but I think they were quite taken aback at just how many orders were placed. And to be clear the deposit money is a tiny drop in the ocean compared to what it’s taken to get this to where it is today.
Seems like if the issues were with suppliers they'd let everyone know that and pass the blame, automakers have been doing just that for 3 years now.
And if that is an issue, they should not be asking for full payment if they don't have everything on hand to build the bike.
And they certainly shouldn't be asking for full payment and getting it, then going silent for weeks or months.
Your friend must have a Youtube channel.
When they try and pigeon hole you on the refund because the bike is in production it will make you feel so much better
I assume every PIF depositor got one.
Pit Row
or simply clicked "Buy" before anyone else...
So what happens to the guy at the end of the 18K line that was told it would take a year or more to get his bike? What are the odds he see's it in a year? Truth is we have no idea how many $100 deposits they have taken since then. Could be 10's of thousands.
The bikes get a VIN before they start building.
Might hold true for your bike, but the rest of Stark’s deliveries do not appear to be first come first serve.
These threads are getting pretty bad recently. Less and less stuff worth reading. Thank You for being willing to deal with all the petty people, and for putting together some good info for the people who are really interested in the Varg.
Hope Your healing up well and are able to get out and ride again soon.
I know it sucks for the few guys that have paid and are a couple months late getting bikes. But of 18,000 3 or 4 is not a majority. And its way too early to be thinking the company is going to fail.
Have You ever made a mistake? shit happens. If there were 100 people on here posting with proof that they were asked to pay, and paid. that might be more reason for concern. As normal, You hear mostly about the negative experiences people have. There are between 400-800 bikes out there based off the vin's posted. As much of a bummer it is for the people that have had issues it is still a small % of people. And I still agree that Stark is not doing the right thing with those people so far. Relying on automation might be a part of the problem as far as the communications go.
Yeah, neither can I comprehend why we keep seeing vids on YouTube by Stark owners with YouTube channels and not seeing vids by Stark owners who do not post videos.
What time of day on Dec 14th did you click buy? What time did your buddy click buy?
speaking of which, are dealers selling at the same price as people get direct or are dealers padding the price?
Yes, same price, the price for everybody went up when they changed from direct to customer, to selling through dealers.
Be interesting to see I’d Jap or Austrian manufacturers can step it up and take advantage of a market horizon. There is a market for just about anything E. The number I’d Varg deposits and full payments shoe what looks to be decent market. Be interesting to see if other manufacturers can bring something to play. Varg may not be a perfect fit for hard core the MX’r. But reduce HP to 20-30 and it’s a fit for a lot of people and versatile. I’d guess run time increases to the point it would wear some of us out. I’ve watched the videos.
With that said, Market horizon or not, consumer confidence is important and in Vargs case could go south quickly if already haven’t.
You wonder why you don't see vids by Stark owners who do not post videos?
That's brilliant mate
You don’t see any videos of my bike because I don’t post any, or indeed make any 🤪🤣
Does that count ?
